About Tropic Waters
Tropic Waters: Sunlit Aquatics from LAFCO New York
Tropic Waters from LAFCO New York is a floral aquatic creation for women and men, introduced in 2026. The fragrance is the work of perfumer Constance Georges-Picot.
Coconut water, green mango and ginger form the opening, followed by neroli, frangipani, sandalwood and sea salt, with tonka bean, amber, solar notes and musk underneath.
At first, the impression is sheer and reviving. Coconut water lends a limpid quality, green mango contributes a pleasantly unripe sharpness, and ginger provides a cool spiced sparkle.
The floral heart soon takes over. Neroli offers sparkling citrus and a freshly laundered clarity, whereas frangipani brings a richer, creamy warmth — unmistakably tropical and sun-drenched.
Sandalwood and sea salt keep it poised. The sandalwood lends milky wood softness, the sea salt a breezy mineral touch reminiscent of skin after swimming.
Beneath, tonka bean, amber, solar notes and musk create a mellow glow. The amber warms, the solar accord sustains the brightness, and the musk leaves a gently powdery, comforting finish.
The overall arc favours freshness first, then white flowers, then a cosy woody-ambery base. It remains airy throughout, ideal for daylight wear in the warmer months.
It should appeal to wearers who favour luminous unisex aquatics — tropical florals tempered by coconut, salt, woods and a soft amber-musk base.
Tropic Waters lives up to its title: watery greens, island blossom and mellow sun-warmed woods. A neat, well-judged floral aquatic by Constance Georges-Picot.
