The theme is a quietly burning hearth: seasoned timber, gentle resins and supple leather, cosy rather than overpowering.
Top notes of cognac, davana, elemi, saffron and balsam fir open the composition. There is a liquorous, spiced brightness framed by resinous greenness, suggesting firelight from the outset.
At the heart, vetiver, guaiac wood, patchouli, Atlas cedar and birch take over. The texture becomes drier and more timbered, with a faintly smoked character of bark and spent logs.
The foundation combines leather, frankincense, benzoin, vanilla and oud wood. Leather lends an animalic presence, frankincense contributes a clear incense smoke, and benzoin with vanilla adds a measured balsamic softness.
The overall signature spans leather, amber, smoke, warm spice, balsam and animal nuances. The trail remains full yet intimate, sitting well on skin and knitwear through the evening.
