I absolutely love this scent! I picked it up in Italy in 2017 and I’m still wearing it because I treat it with the care it deserves. I’m utterly smitten with that sweetness and the vanilla cloud that wraps around you. Nowadays everyone is hunting for lemon and vanilla fragrances, but when I bought it nearly a decade ago, it was a genuine novelty for me. Besides, I cherish it because it brings back memories of everything I experienced there.

Tesori d’Oriente Vaniglia e Zenzero del Madagascar is a fragrance that, without being complicated, has surprised me for several reasons… Its opening is distinct, with a special focus. On my skin, at first, it smells like a powerful, expansive men’s deodorant, like Axe, with very clear notes of ginger and vanilla. Over time it settles and lets the vanilla come through more, but underneath it retains that masculine and sober execution. It’s a blend of vanilla, ginger, wood, and water that isn’t normal; it doesn’t smell like dessert nor is it a vanilla that projects too much, yet it lasts for ages. With just four sprays, it lasts hours for you and for those around you. Although it leans heavily towards a masculine vibe, a woman can wear it without hesitation because it maintains a sweet and modern air. Women who dare to wear masculine scents will adore it. It’s very linear on my skin and, given the price, it’s a semi-sweet woody masculine that isn’t gourmand for an utterly ridiculous cost in 100ml. I recommend it for any season, but I’m sure some noses will find it simple while others will place more value on it.
