What an incredible perfume! If you have a sensitive nose, it’s best to keep your distance as this is a spice bomb, a full-on oriental. It reminded me of the start of my career in pharmacies, surrounded by old woods and essences filling the air… such lovely olfactory memories. It’s a beautiful woody scent, as if you were carrying a bouquet of roses and smoky jasmine with incense, with that sweetness I enjoy, just right to please without being overpowering. I consider it woody-floral-oriental; it needs to be applied with care. It’s extremely potent, 80s and 90s style, but very sensual and romantic. Of the Tauer perfumes I’ve tried, this is the best for me.

Honestly, this perfume is a real treat. I was gifted 5ml, and quite frankly, it’s impressive. I absolutely love the strong spicy opening, combined with that balsamic and resinous base; it’s very similar to Histoires de Parfum L’Animale’s Tubéreuse 3. It’s an opulent scent, perfect for cold climates or winter nights, with excellent trail and longevity. For me, it’s suitable for anyone, provided they don’t overapply it. In short, it’s an excellent perfume with vintage touches but remains very wearable today.
