  • I like it. An explosion of orangey incense from the petit grain and coriander. The scent lingers, shifting between incense, petit grain, cedar, and the sweetness of amber. It’s pleasant, but not my style. Extraordinary quality. Ideal for spring and autumn, for daytime wear. Long-lasting longevity, moderate sillage.

  • Andy’s cap. Opens with petit grain, a spicy kick, and smoke. Gradually, the incense and cedar take over while the petit grain and coriander fade away. Sometimes I detect a green touch, like freshly cut wood. In the end, the amber comes to the fore and rounds everything off. Good performance, lasting power, and decent projection for the first few hours, then it becomes more skin-scented. Although it’s unisex, I see it as more masculine due to its smoky and woody nature. I’d wear it in any weather; it’s very versatile. A pleasant surprise, as I wasn’t expecting much. I’m not a fan of woody scents, but this has something addictive. Perhaps it’s the blend of incense and amber or that green note. I don’t know, but it seemed like a great perfume. Future purchase.

  • I’m not usually a fan of pyramids, but I have to admit it’s quality, despite the price and somewhat airy performance. It’s not that it performs badly, but it’s not a hammer either. Not all expensive perfumes have to be heavy, but for those who can hardly afford them, it’s almost essential, hehe. Opens with fairly natural incense, drier than smoky, with fresh coriander and petit grain. Then the woods emerge alongside the incense in the mid-stage and early drydown. It’s in the drydown where I notice that soapy ambergris with a touch of tangerine. The amber sweetness provides the necessary counterpoint so it’s not too dry. Good perfume, but very expensive.

Wearing it today, the name doesn’t fit. It’s nothing extreme; the incense is balanced with a soapy touch. There are distant echoes of Orange Star. On my skin, it doesn’t perform well and stays very close to the skin. Pleasant scent, but it doesn’t deliver on what the name promises.

  • As an incense lover, I adore it, even if the name doesn’t do it justice. It’s green, luminous, not dense, with a mystical aura. Lasts a long time, though it doesn’t project much. I sprayed it on my clothes at 4pm and it was still detectable the next day. I reckon the 50ml will last me a lifetime. It’s the only Tauer I’ve genuinely enjoyed.

  • A fresh incense scent, similar to Loewe’s Siete but more natural and without that citrusy touch.

  • Wore decants for over a year before finally buying the bottle: it’s an incense that’s now in my top 5 after trying so many.
