I find this fragrance interesting and easy to like. If you’re looking for something more esoteric and original, you’d be better off diving into niche perfumery; here, it feels almost like a designer scent, albeit of high quality and price with superior performance. I wouldn’t highlight the citrus notes, but rather the orange blossom, ambergris, musk, and perhaps sandalwood, with sweet and fruity nuances rather than floral ones. I suppose everyone expects more from Mr Tauer, and he doesn’t always deliver his best. For highly trained noses seeking surprises, it might be a bit uninteresting, but it’s an easy-to-please fragrance for all audiences.
