I tested it on dry skin and it’s a super creamy magnolia and rose flower with soft citrus, unisex but leaning feminine, synthetic yet high quality in the style of Ormonde Jayne, with medium projection and lasting over six hours. The downside is that on my skin it turned into a nightmare: acidic and stinging florals across the four times I’ve worn it. What a pity I can’t give it the justice it deserves with a more complete review.
In short, to highlight what I like most: ‘green-balsamic citrus florals’. The blend and layers are interesting. The goths who venture out into the sunlight on a hot day will surely love it. It’s a bomb, untamable in terms of trail and projection. The longevity is among the best, at record levels, comparable to Interlude or the original Dior Homme Parfum. We’ll see how long it lasts, as we’re used to perfumers lowering the bar the moment they gain recognition.
In short, to highlight the most striking aspects as I usually do: green-balsamic citrus florals. The scent and combination are interesting due to the blend and the layers it achieves. The goths who venture out into the sunlight on a hot day will surely appreciate this brilliant work. It’s a bomb, absolutely bombastic and untamable in terms of trail and projection. The longevity is also among the best, speaking of record levels, comparable to Interlude or the original Dior Homme Parfum. We’ll see how long it lasts, as we’re used to perfumers lowering the bar the moment they gain recognition.
Checking the website, I see the 120ml is labelled Parfum while the 50ml is Intensive at 42%. I have the 120ml version and, as R. de Lioncourt says, it’s a green-balsamic aroma (I managed to detect the orange, pepper, and then the rose-oud at the start, the latter being very subtle). I perceive it as a close-wear fragrance, with a trail that’s moderate to medium.

Well, for me it’s a disaster, nothing like what I expected. To each their own, of course. If you love rose and oud, congratulations on having an expert nose; this might be right up your street. But to me, it smells like a 50+ lady who’s just stepped out of the lobby in her fur coat and has permeated the entire building. It’s a rose that, thanks to the oud base, seems to have been crushed between the legs after an hour of gym cardio, paired with very synthetic citrus notes that border on fougère. There’s no way to grasp it; I tried it because I read it was the apotheosis of elegance and a wonderful citrus, but I always forget that this world and I live on two different planets. Forgive me, but I just can’t handle these scents.
Horrible, I didn’t like it at all. That doesn’t mean you won’t like it; it all depends on personal taste. If you enjoy rose and oud, congratulations on having an erudite nose; this could be perfect for you.
