Vetiveria by Ormonde Jayne is an aromatic fougère fragrance for men and women. This creation, launched in 2025, is presented as a novelty within the house. The top notes unfold the freshness of lime, green lemon, juniper berry, thyme, and sage. The heart of the composition reveals the warmth of orange, the elegance of lavender, the delicacy of bellflower, and the sensuality of jasmine. Finally, the base notes anchor the essence with the depth of vetiver, the sweetness of tonka bean, the texture of moss, and the luminosity of helianthemum.

Another Ormonde gem. Opens with a super fresh burst of bergamot, lime, and a green note that gives a nice energy boost. This opening lasts a few minutes before yielding to a vetiver that is nothing like earthy, but very clean, blended with a base of sandalwood and perhaps orange that accompanies the entire evolution. It starts very lively to finish elegantly, with a subtle sweetness and a very wearable vetiver. I loved it; it’s not revolutionary but it is addictive. More masculine, semi-formal or formal, ideal for the office because it doesn’t overpower. Lasts all day on skin, around 7 or 8 hours. Moderate projection. It’s not the best OJ, but it is an excellent fragrance, without a doubt. Few better options with lime and vetiver. Works all year round, except on very cold days.
