  Based on the promised notes, I was very keen to try it, but the reality has been an unexpected disappointment, especially compared to the Ormonde Man from the same house, which is another level. Zizan doesn’t smell bad, on the contrary, it smells good, but simply doesn’t speak to me. It is citrusy, green, and natural, but ends up seeming common and lacking a hook, something I try to avoid in a niche fragrance. Furthermore, the performance let me down, so the decant I bought won’t become a full bottle.

  A worthy vetiver that retains its woody essence from the spray to the skin, without that dark touch found in others and instead more bright, yet without exaggeration. It begins with citrus notes that set the tone, then settles into pure vetiver with an almost imperceptible musky trail. It is unique in its class, but being pleasant, it doesn’t quite excite me. Moderate to low longevity, around six hours, with a fine trail after an hour and a half. Perfect for the office or spring and summer days: it smells good, but doesn’t leave me speechless.
