  1. I’m not an expert on perfumes, but I absolutely adore this scent. The problem is it doesn’t last at all on the skin; it has the poorest longevity I’ve ever tried and leaves no trail even when sprayed on clothes. It hurts that I like it so much. Does anyone know if it’s the Iso E’s fault or something else?

  2. A perfumer friend of Geza Schoen convinced him to create a Molecule01 with iris as a special touch. She was the tester and it worked brilliantly: the scent was noticeable in the lift and on the street just minutes after she’d left, with incredible projection and trail. It’s Molecule01+ Iris, featuring a real iris absolute, nothing like the synthetic orange and neroli blends. It carries bergamot to give light and freshness to the opening, though it’s not detectable, plus Hedione, a sweet white floral. It’s clean and dry, with no soapy or vintage notes, possessing impeccable elegance. The iris is transparent, not heavy like in Dior or soapy like in Prada, and never becomes overpowering. It suits any season, lasting over 10 hours with moderate projection and a strong trail. Another masterpiece from Geza.

Smells fantastic. Although it contains only Iso E-Super and Iris, it isn’t monotonous thanks to the magic of Molecule01, which comes and goes revealing facets of resinous notes, sweet woods, and resins like Cypress. The iris isn’t sweet or lipstick-like as in Dior Homme, Prada L’Homme, or Valentino Uomo; here it’s dry and salty, more akin to the earthy-salty iris in Givenchy Gentleman, though that one smells of dusty makeup. Definitely worth trying. From the ‘+’ collection, it’s the one I like least as the patchouli and mandarin scents are superb, but this one deserves its place too. The longevity is long, lasting all day with those bursts. It works perfectly as a signature scent, for casual wear, or for layering.
