I was looking for something clean, airy and neutral: elegant enough for summer weddings and the office, but also suitable for a night out with friends or a date. I checked the top-rated perfumes online: fresh scents for heat, versatile and modern classics. I tried Tabarome Milesime, Gentle Fluidity Silver, Sicilian Leather, Orpheon and Original Vetiver; I liked Nio, Wanderlust, Ghost in the Shell and Viking Cologne. I even considered returning to my faithful Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme. A brilliant sales assistant showed me Mefisto Gentiluomo, Torino 21 and Erolfa by Creed, all fantastic, yet they didn’t break my demanding shell or my ambition to find something new. Then, while I was still browsing, I asked: ‘And these are from the molecules? I don’t know them.’ She offered me two. One did nothing, but the other… BOOM! It was this one. It reminds me of 4711 cologne on a high mountain, clean skin, clothes hanging out. Orange-citrus, slightly bitter, dry and woody. It’s super light and restrained, but I love it and that’s what matters. I don’t understand how it beat all those wonders; it was something visceral. In the end, the boundary I was seeking led me back to the first fresh scents of my childhood. I’m going to enjoy this bottle for a long time.
Good heavens, I don’t know how to write this without it being deleted, because the Taliban of Fragrantica delete any comment that isn’t favourable to the fragrance. Well, here goes: It smells like pickles in vinegar. The olive is also very strong and noticeable. Chromatically it is a green fragrance. But that doesn’t make it a fresh fragrance, not by a long shot. Please, never buy blind.
At first, it isn’t the most impactful, but then it hooks you. It’s rare for me to happen, but with this one I can’t stop smelling my arm. It starts citrusy and green with a touch of jasmine, and then the Iso-e-super comes out, combining perfectly with the Javanol sandalwood, which is very present here. On my skin it has a slight sweetness, without being cloying. For me, along with E05, these are the best in the collection; perhaps less minimalist, but very special. The trail is weak to moderate, so don’t overdo it because if there’s too much you take away the magic. Medium longevity.
At first, it isn’t the most impactful, but little by little it becomes addictive. After putting it on, I can’t help but bring my arm close to smell it over and over again, something that happens to me very rarely. It starts with a citrus and green top note with a touch of jasmine, giving way to a subtle Iso-e-super that suits it wonderfully and combines perfectly with the Javanol sandalwood, very present in this EDT. On my skin I also notice it slightly sweet, but absolutely not cloying. For me, along with E05, these are the best in the collection. Perhaps less minimalist than the rest, but very special and peculiar. The trail is between weak and moderate, but certainly I don’t advise overdoing it because an excess takes away part of its magic. Medium longevity.
