The best perfume for the office: a very clean and pleasant scent. Highly recommended! Spectacular. Perhaps its performance is its weakest point.
I bought the discovery set and this is the first one I’ve tried. I can’t highlight specific notes, but the scent seemed very rounded and solid to me. It’s fresh, clean, with a green and sweet touch. Classic and formal without being strident. It’s not groundbreaking or powerful, but I’ve loved it. I’m interested in buying it because the brand refunds the set cost when purchasing the first 100ml bottle, bringing the total to 54 euros.
It’s from Bruno Jovanovich, a brand I trust and which a friend recommended. The truth is, it doesn’t grab me. It is clean, green and fresh, smelling of light aromatic vetiver, but it doesn’t really hit the senses or convince me. The Essential Perfumes line seemed to have this style, but it doesn’t. For 30 euros it might be worth it, but for 75, definitely not.
I see it as a simple, clean and fresh scent with a classic cut, ideal for work and for anyone seeking something discreet and non-intrusive. It’s not original, following a classic recipe with green (smoke-free) vetiver, lime and juniper. There are many cheaper alternatives on the market, so you probably already own something similar. Moderate sillage, lasting around 7 hours on my skin. Scent 5/10, Longevity 7/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 4.5/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? No, I haven’t.
I love it, what a pity it doesn’t last long enough. It’s the best I’ve tried from the brand, even better than Bois Imperial. It’s a clean, metallic and very masculine scent where lime and gin dominate. If you like those notes, give it a go; I’d wear it year-round as a signature. If it lasted 5-6 hours on the skin, I’d buy it without hesitation.
Mon Vetiver isn’t a launch fragrance, yet it works perfectly: fresh, clean and classic for everyday wear without being too formal. Its herbal vetiver with citrus and a hint of juniper is ideal; I don’t notice that metallic aftertaste others mention, although it does emerge as it dries, becoming more velvety with a lavender base. It lasts around 4-5 hours with a soft sillage. It smells great, but the value for money seems to be among the lowest in the brand’s range.
Patchouli takes over as it dries down.
