Just like the English version on Fragrantica: Égoïste Cologne Concentrée, launched in 1992, is a richer, fuller, darker and more opulent take on the 1990 Chanel Égoïste for men. If the original seemed unique to me, this leaves me speechless; it is a genuine Mysore sandalwood in a warm, intense composition, hard to resist. Polge could not have done better, and it’s a pity it has disappeared from the market. By the way, if you find bottles at a moderate price on eBay, be suspicious, especially if they are from Russia, as fakes were made years ago. From a collection of around 200 perfumes, this might be the best one in my opinion. A plea for it to return.
