A wonderful cologne, smells deliciously of ORANGE, a natural orange, as if you were squeezing and rubbing it directly on your skin. A bit pricey, I think; €20 for 100ml.
I’ve just tried it. Although it’s slightly more acidic, it’s a very good option if you can’t get hold of Orange Sanguine by Atelier Cologne. I like it.
I can’t say I dislike it, but I enjoy it less than its 2020 sibling, where lemon takes precedence. In this 2018 Remix, orange is the star. It’s a rich scent but less accomplished and refreshing than the lemon version. It smells like opening a jar of bitter orange marmalade, with barely any sweetness. The trail is moderate and the longevity is good for an EDT, around 4-5 hours. Like the lemon version, it’s suitable for layering to add an orange touch. Rating: 6.5/10 for scent, longevity and trail; 6/10 for value; 7/10 for versatility; 6/10 for packaging. Would I buy it again? No.
I’d been wanting to try this for ages and finally found it yesterday. Of all the listed notes, I only detect a fresh orange scent with a certain bitterness that overpowers everything, alongside a hint of lemon. Initially, it has a moderate trail that fades until it’s right up against the skin. Regarding longevity, it doesn’t last long, about two hours. I liked it.
It’s a bitter orange cologne with a fresh opening of lemon, bergamot and green tea. Then it settles into just that orange, neither too bitter nor too sweet, hitting the spot perfectly. However, the longevity is extremely low, typical of 4711, though this lasts about half an hour, slightly better than the original. At €15 for 100ml, it’s not worth it for me; there are fresher orange options, such as Verde d’Arancia by Monotheme Venezia at Primor. Go and try them.
