I tried it today in Paris. Tremendous. A super natural scent of peach skin with plenty of jasmine underneath. Very velvety and natural, refined, just as we’re used to from L’Artisan. The peach is more of a dried peach skin, with salty nuances, not a fruity or sugared peach. Then the jasmine makes it very creamy, clean, and floral. Yes, it’s more feminine for me, but if you’re a man and feel comfortable wearing it, go ahead. I wear it and don’t mind. An incredible, velvety perfume. Modern, clean, incredibly refined, with excellent performance. I left the blotter in my pocket and threw it away at night. Two days later, I’d get bursts of scent every time I took my hand out of my pocket without bringing it near my nose. As always, I totally disagree with the reviews I see here regarding longevity. I absolutely loved it. At first sniff, I noticed a juicy, velvety, and elegant peach note, followed by a delicate jasmine, then patchouli and some woods. Perfect as a signature scent for spring, summer, and autumn. The longevity is good and the sillage moderate. I haven’t been impressed by a perfume in ages, and A fleur de pêcheur has managed it.
This fragrance lingers not just on the skin, but in the soul. It’s like opening a door to a hidden memory: fresh at first, enveloping in the heart, and with an ending that leaves a lasting impression. An aroma that turns the ordinary into the unforgettable.
