I’d been craving this brand and scent for months. I first looked at Café Chantant, but seeing the notes of A’ Grazia made me choose this one instead. It’s oriental, sweet, animalic and floral; what I notice most is leather, dark chocolate, rose oxide and rose. The bottle is a work of art: the colours, engraving, cap, everything, and the packaging is also superb, not to mention the story behind it. I now see Nobile 1942 as one of my favourite niche brands and will soon buy that Café Chantant I loved so much.
