I adore perfumes with history and depth. This smells like a forgotten family wardrobe: old leather coats, leather, camphor, and that pre-war dust. It’s vintage, romantic, damp, and with a hint of acidity. There are decadent flowers, perhaps lilac or mimosa, and an iris that dusts everything. While it recalls an elegant older lady from yesteryear, it has a darkness that suits anyone. I wear it in autumn and winter and love it. It’s not for everyone, but it’s a great creation—well-made, long-lasting, and soulful.
