  It’s obvious that in modern perfumery you shouldn’t judge a fragrance by its name or bottle. This is another clear case: it doesn’t attract you because of its notes, which unfortunately follow the trend of declaring only three or four, dictated by marketing I don’t understand, since we know it’s hard to create a perfume with fewer than 50 ingredients. Here we have fig, geranium, tea, mineral notes, rose and aromatic… I do detect the rose, but only because I’ve read about it, and it’s true that it smells like a rose submerged in the abysses of an underwater garden. I don’t know how they’ve managed it, but coming from this house it doesn’t surprise me: they create an olfactive picture that evokes a garden on the sea floor where hidden nature blooms and an aquatic breeze carries the scents of its flora growing among the remains of a sunken ship. Well-deserved award as Best Niche of 2023 by the Fragrance Foundation. The bottle is beautiful. The price? Too high for me. Luckily I found a bargain. If you’re looking to fill rooms or leave a mark (good or bad), this isn’t for you, but if you use perfume to evoke sensations and seek art, try it and enjoy it. 33 minutes of applause, Daphne ♥️🪸🪼⛵️
