  • Fresh fig. If you love the fig note, this is a fabulous option. It smells more like green fig or fresh leaves in the morning with dew, with a sharp freshness and a hint of pepper. As it dries down, it’s enchanting with that cedar and jasmine, becoming sexy and charming. A very good choice for warm days or mornings after a shower to feel revitalised.

  • The freshest perfume I own, by far. It has a marvellous effervescence and longevity. When I feel melancholic, I wear it and it completely changes my mood.

  • This doesn’t contain fig; it’s peach or nectarine, basically lemon with very little else and a hint of wood. The longevity is decent for a cologne, lasting 4–5 hours, but it projects nothing. My partner couldn’t smell it on me; it smelled like peach body wash. I found it overly feminine, synthetic and of poor quality – it gave me nausea. It’s a simple, cheap fragrance. LVMH bought Acqua di Parma and have ruined everything. For me, it’s a forgettable one.

  • A wonderful floral scent with prominent fig tree notes. Reminds me of Diptyque’s Philosykos. Totally recommended.

  • GammaPerfumería

It doesn’t smell like the fruit, but like the plant. I tried a tester that I liked, but when I bought the final presentation it didn’t smell as creamy and I think it lasts less. If you are going to buy it, go for the testers. The scent is rich and different. Update: my tester was from 2020 and this one from 2018; I don’t know why, but I liked the 2020 batch more. Having this batch is a gem.

Fico di Amalfi is the most recognised of the Blu Mediterraneo range, although the fig scent isn’t for everyone. It features fig, grapefruit and white florals with woody undertones, ideal for warm climates. It’s green and citrusy with a tropical sweetness reminiscent of passionfruit – informal and distinctive. It evolves to become more acidic yet retains its core elements. I see it as unisex for hot weather, with good skin performance and suited to informal occasions. It doesn’t resemble other fig fragrances; it’s one of the best alongside Diptyque’s Philosykos. Rating: 8.5/10.

  • It’s incredible; it literally smells like a freshly opened fig, hard to find anything more realistic. It’s delicious and essential if you like figs. The longevity is very scarce; after half an hour it fades to skin scent and the projection is non-existent. With decent longevity it would be a totem, but as it is, I only recommend it at a good price and in a large format for reapplication. A missed opportunity.

  • This house’s colognes are masterpieces, recreating nature in a realistic way. Here, the fig leaf dominates the entire journey, very fresh and lovely. At the end, it leaves a subtle woody note. It’s a beautiful unisex scent of high quality. The downside is that the longevity and projection are not up to scratch, but it does tempt me.

It’s real! At 17, I dreamed of rain in León, a grandfather, and a scent I had never felt before. I’ve been searching for that aroma since 2006 and finally found it in Fico di Amalfi. I’m allergic to figs, but the Diptyque samples opened my eyes. It smells incredible with rain, evoking that dream. Unfortunately, the longevity is short; it lasts an informal breakfast in spring, but it’s worth it. 10/10.

  • Herbal opening and super refreshing, then it becomes more feminine. The price is good, but the longevity is terrible; it barely lasts.

  • CanaryIsland

The scent is rich; if you can find a tester at half price, buy it. I wouldn’t pay more than $100 for a cologne that lasts 30 minutes on the skin even with 20 sprays. Those who rate it honestly I believe only try it in the perfumery and then opine; this cologne, like most ADP, is incredible in scent, the best. But they set their prices based only on the scent and not the poor longevity. They should cost half of what they are, and even then I still think it’s expensive.

  • To start with, everyone already says it: it doesn’t last long. But for me, in a perfume, longevity isn’t everything. If you can’t reapply and you like to stay scented all day, it’s a disappointment, but not always. If you can reapply or won’t be around for the whole day, the problem disappears. You shouldn’t exaggerate either: yes, it doesn’t last long, but it performs well for at least three hours. What matters is the scent. It feels very natural and balanced. At first, sweet citrus with fig leaves, which then give way to sweet fig and a faint woody base with a hint of jasmine that balances the initial freshness and the subsequent sweetness. For me it’s an 8/10, because clearly it would make me happier if it lasted at least six hours on the skin.

  • Exquisite fragrance, ideal for summer. Although everyone talks about the fig or fig leaf note, for me, at least on my skin, the grapefruit note is more present, even when it dries down. Despite having citrus, it’s not the typical sharp EDT, it’s more complex and natural, mixing citrus with the subtle sweetness of the fig that gives it a fruity character. From the very first moment I fell in love and it became one of my favourites for summer; it conveys peace. The only drawback is the longevity, but it’s common in these summer EDTs. In a way, it feels good to carry it in the bag and reapply whenever you want, it feels refreshing, perfect for those hot summer days.

  • A very pleasant and fresh scent for spring and summer. Immediately you imagine a hot day, well-dressed and in good spirits, where this smell plays a big part. Its performance is good and even exceeded my expectations.

Let’s see: SCENT is good, INGREDIENTS are of the highest quality. However: LONGEVITY, TRAIL AND PERFORMANCE ARE A FRAUD. I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE BUY THIS COLOGNE FOR MORE THAN $100, IT’S NOT WORTH IT. I bought it for $75 and it’s a total fraud in terms of performance, I wouldn’t recommend it at all, only for the smell. I’ve been recommended Calabrian Bergamot and Arancia di Capri because they are more citrusy and seem to last an hour longer than this cologne. A 60-dollar Eau de Parfum lasts 100 times longer… What a pity, it’s a disappointment.

  • LosPerfumesDeJavi

It’s a fragrance with an exquisite, very natural scent, nothing artificial. The fig is perfectly noticeable. It’s for summer and spring. It has a wide trail for the first half hour, then stays close to the skin and its longevity is around six hours (at least on my skin). It reminds me a lot of Thierry Mugler’s Womanity Eau Pour Elles, though I prefer this one because it’s sweeter. Although the scent is excellent, I wouldn’t buy a full bottle due to its short longevity.

  • ignacio.gaete

What an exquisite fragrance, I love it. It’s refreshing, citrusy and green, with a creamy touch as it dries down thanks to the fig, a marvel. For the first two hours it projects moderately, then it stays close to the skin for another five or six hours, like a second skin.

  • DaviniaTolkien

I tried it last year in the height of summer and wow… I expected a greener, riper fig, but I found the pulp with the freshness of the stalk. Wow, I loved it. It’s sweet, beautiful and perfect for everyday wear; you don’t need to think about what you’ll do, just bathe in it. Is it short-lived? Perhaps, I haven’t known it long enough, but knowing its sister Mandorlo, I doubt they are ephemeral, but they are certainly worth it. Personally, I prefer scent over longevity; if I have to sacrifice the smell for longevity, goodbye. I hope to get hold of it one day, it’s not urgent and I’m not dying for it, but I will definitely have it. Perhaps it will be the answer when I run out of the almond one.

Tremendous fragrance. Really it is not what one expects, it has a very own and interesting personality. Before I thought it would be a sumptuously green and mature fragrance, but when I smelled it I found a tremendously bright and versatile fragrance. Better to say, more than versatile it is an adaptive fragrance. This fragrance gives you a serious personality when you are in a shirt thanks to that clean and green smell, but it is also capable of giving you an energetic and youthful personality when you are in shorts. Some citrus that point more to the side of cleanliness and a fig that points more to the natural smell that persists from a fruit than to the green smell one might suppose the perfume has. In conclusion, a resounding yes for almost any occasion, whether you are young or more adult, I would be surprised by some context or person in which this perfume would not fit.

Fico Di Amalfi is like that fresh breeze that brushes against your face on a sunny day, surrounded by fields and trees swaying in the wind; it offers a gentle touch of lush green foliage. It’s a brilliant, natural experience, the beauty of green and white bathed in light and movement. Just as nature does not age, this scent does not fade with time: always young, vibrant and transparent. If the good life had a smell, this would be its embodiment. It brings calm and serenity, a harbinger of fine weather and joy. Despite its virtues, projection and longevity are not its strong suit, something typical of Acqua Di Parma. If you have the means to buy it, it’s a triumph; if not, you may well have doubts. Scent: 10. Projection: almost two hours. Longevity: between four and five hours. I recommend it for the smell, not so much for performance.

  • Wonderful aroma for the three hours it lasts on skin. It smells like summer, like fig and like fig tree. Like when I used to spend summer afternoons in the family countryside on the Mediterranean coast eating figs and brevas. I understand that this house uses many natural aromas, from where I imagine its nefarious performance comes. In my case it is a scent I love, but its performance makes it not worth it. Seriously considering looking at some alternative clone that resembles it.

  • Fico Di Amalfi Acqua Di Parma: I am writing again about this fragrance that I have used these last few days. First: aromatically it transported me to my grandfather’s old orchard which had many trees, vegetables, fruits, legumes, aromatic plants or herbs of all kinds… And coincidentally it had many fig trees, and I remember their smell was very strong. As a child I spent a lot of time in that orchard and I will never forget its smell. When I use this fragrance immediately that orchard smell comes to my mind, it feels very natural, very fresh and slightly bitter, but very pleasant. Definitely it is a good scent, and of course it has its own thing, carried out masterfully the natural essence of its notes, it seems to smell like life, flora and foliage, weeds and countryside, a totally herbaceous aroma where fig predominates. The fusion of this wild life and vegetation sensation with the citrus and woody part is surprising. Of the aromas that are gradually conquering me until I recognise their absolute beauty. Aromatically it is an 11. However, regarding its performance, something that commonly happens with most Acqua di Parma is weak. Not that it is imperceptible, but it stays slightly barely noticeable, and it is rare because fig is actually a very consistent or potent smell, however this fragrance does not reflect it thus. As a scent it is very good, but its performance is not so much. Regarding its use I think it is a daytime fragrance and for hot climates. Scent: 11. Projection: Limited, perhaps to 30 centimetres distance and in a subtle way for 2 hours. Longevity: 5 to 6 hours max. Despite a subtle performance, I recommend it totally.

  • Incredible and peculiar perfume. Does it smell like fig? No, absolutely not. It smells like the fig tree, the tree and its leaves, with such realism that if you give it to people profane in perfumery, like I have done, all without exception will say it smells like fig, but to a fig surrounded by the orchard and green herbs. Pure country summer on a sunny day. Very addictive and evocative, especially for those of us who grew up in villages or rural neighbourhoods surrounded by orchards and trees, with very warm summers. It does not evoke the beach at all, but it serves for any summer event, including the beach. You will leave an olfactory trail and, as it is not invasive, it still feels lighter. If you like this type of aroma you will enjoy it; if not, well, something else, but as an olfactory experience it is impressive.

  • Looking for a citrus-fruity scent that evokes the fig tree and is very realistic of the typical Mediterranean solar aroma? One that is also niche quality at a designer price? Then I know of no better option. It opens with a blast of quite refreshing citrus, and within minutes the fig tree appears, giving a very realistic representation of a spring field with a fig harvest. It is a natural and comforting scent, suitable for all ages and designed for summers and springs. It is very versatile; its preferred habitat is maritime outdoors such as beaches or pool days, but it also works brilliantly in the office during hot seasons. Elegant, sophisticated and pleasant. Discovering something new? No. Is it simple in its composition? Perhaps, but Acqua di Parma had already planned this Blu Mediterraneo collection very well. The most reputable is this one. I bought the 5oz bottle for around $105 USD, allowing you to apply it with joy and layer it because perhaps its weak point is longevity, but let’s not tell lies: why would you ask a citrus-marine-fruity scent to last more than 6 hours? Unless you are looking for citrus like Atelier Cologne or Laboratorio Olfativo.

  • fouriouscat2

Fico di Amalfi smells like very juicy fig, just like that. It’s a sweet scent, but a tropical sweet, fresh and vibrant, nothing like the typical vanilla-based sweetness. It’s a natural, juicy sweetness that recalls the pulp of freshly cut ripe figs. At the same time, it evokes incredible freshness, like a sea breeze on a summer day. It’s truly delicious and you can tell there is spectacular quality in every note. I recommend trying it at least once because it is well worth experiencing this unique aroma. Imagine walking through a fig orchard on the Amalfi coast, with the sun warming your skin and the air filled with the sweet, green scent of ripe figs. That is the feeling it conveys. Scent: 11/10, Sillage: 7/10, Longevity: 6/10.

From the first time I tried it in store, I was pleasantly surprised. This has been my first foray into high-end fragrances, surpassing the designer scents I already owned, as its natural aroma captivated me immediately. It evokes pleasant holidays by the beach, with an intense and citrusy opening that, in my case, projects quite well during the first two hours. Then it becomes closer to the skin but still maintains its presence. For something fresh and citrusy, the performance is excellent on extreme heat days, giving an unparalleled sense of cleanliness. Precisely for this reason, I wear it both to school and the office. I believe I live in one of the cities where perfumes are more affordable, so I managed to pick up the 150 ml version for just $75, an exceptional price. Without a doubt, it is a fragrance that you will not only enjoy but will receive compliments for. It is my first review here and I can affirm that this fragrance will stay in my collection. Although I don’t know if it will be my absolute favourite, it is certainly one of the best I have and one of those I know I will continue to like for a long time. Final rating: 9.4/10.

  • El Doctorazo

Fig, fig, and more fig. It feels like juicy, very natural fig; it smells incredible, but its major flaw is longevity: it truly doesn’t last me more than 20 minutes. Projection and sillage, nothing. I have mixed feelings because the scent is top-tier, but the performance is fatal, the worst of all my perfumes. I don’t think it’s worth it, even though it’s not very expensive.

  • StarlinCollado

I tried it out and the first sensation is pure nature at its most vibrant. Ever walked into a florist’s shop just as the flowers are being cut? Or that green, fresh scent when the mower goes over freshly cut grass? That’s exactly how it smells, but with a touch more refinement and elegance, without being aggressive. It’s not your typical summer citrus perfume; it has a herbal, natural feel that makes it intriguing.

  • I do not know how they fix this at ADP, but it smells wonderfully natural, a blend of fig and fig tree. With a sweet touch, plus it projects and lasts well, better than other Mediterranean series scents. I think it is an excellent perfume, a marvel for sunny days; I would only set it aside for wearing with a suit and tie.

  • PacmanKinder

Beautiful! It feels super fresh, a super natural blend of the fig fruit and leaf.

  • I really like the fig note; it was the first perfume I found while searching for this note. I do not regret it because ADP is prestigious and high quality. As many say, the problem is the longevity, which is very short, but the same happens with Philosykos, and both are expensive. Since then, I have found my favourite fig perfume, an affordable niche option (45€ for 50ml): Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis. Here, there are wonderful fig and fig tree notes with better longevity and a fair price. I am not sponsored by Mr Theodoros, but if you like fig, investigate other options; there are many that exploit this note more intensely for a similar cost.

  • I love that intense and citrusy opening where bergamot does not dominate as it does in others; that cider cocktail is pleasant and opulent. Then the intensity drops, giving way to the fig that accompanies the rest. It projects for less than an hour and then lingers on the skin for 5-6 hours (in a closed environment). Ideal for spring, summer, and daytime autumn.

  • Augusto Enci

To describe Fico di Amalfi objectively would be a betrayal. It is not just a perfume; it is my summer encapsulated, my anchor to the land I love, that mountainous Mediterranean with hot stone. I was looking for a summer that was not just about the beach and salt, and here I found it: an interior summer, vineyards, and fig fields. It is an elegant and vegetal summer. The citrus opening dissolves into a green and damp heart, the juicy fig but not cloying, as if it were on a branch under the sun. The soft wood base brings serenity. Every time I wear it, it transports me to that silence after lunch in the shade of a fig tree, with linen and suspended time. It does not seek to seduce; it seeks to accompany. It is not sensual; it is a clean and subtle elegance. People come closer because of the scent; it suggests well-being and closeness. It is my summer signature, reinforces my style, and slides as if it has always been there. I am keen to try the iris version, but this remains my refuge when the sun is high.

  • It is rich and evokes summer. In the dry-down, it smells like Garnier shampoo and Zara’s Ebony Wood. But seriously, without exaggerating, it smells very much like the fig tree itself. 9/10.

  • It is rich; the fig is noticeable, with good composition and refined quality. However, it does not last at all, it is expensive, and it does not project much. For the price, there are better options.

  • DiegoSupertramposo

Stop asking for extreme longevity from perfumes like this. It gives the sensation of smelling natural: citrus, a real sweet fig, and green fig tree, as if cutting rose stems. It evokes summer, holidays, the countryside, or a relaxed beach day. It does not smell heavy or project to a distance; no one wants that in summer, especially with warm or synthetic notes. If you are looking for a trail that reaches metres, this is not your option, but if you want to smell different from typical summer scents, it is a good alternative. On my skin, it performs for 6 hours and holds up well in the heat, which is enough for me. Rating: 8/10 longevity, 7/10 scent, 9/10 quality, 9/10 projection.

  • Fico di Amalfi is a beast, a fragrance that captures you and transports you back to childhood. It reminds me of picking figs with my father. It opens with citrus, but after 20 minutes, only the fig tree, leaves, and a sweet fruity touch remain. It is so real that I picked a leaf from a tree and smelled it next to the perfume; they smell identical. If you are looking for longevity and projection, forget the Blu Mediterraneo and Acqua di Parma lines; they are not for that. But if you want to enjoy an incredible and high-quality olfactory experience, you are in the right place. On my skin, it lasts 3-4 hours. To those complaining about the longevity, remember it is an EDT with natural ingredients, which are more volatile, but for the price today, it is a must-have in my collection. 10/10.

  • VincenzoMaggio

Smells like a wealthy Italian enjoying the Amalfi coast; it is exquisite and very different. 10/10.
