  • Hello Silviazuzu, there is a section on the Forum for exchanging perfumes where you can offer whatever you like, always remembering that it is not for sales and the Administration does not allow it. As you know (you have already reviewed others), this is not the place for this type of comment; they belong on the Forum.

  • If anyone finds this cologne amusing, I will sell mine for 20 euros. It is the 100 ml bottle. I paid 47 euros and wore it 3 or 4 times. It smells good, but I have porous skin and it doesn’t suit me. [email protected]

  • What a hangover; the smell won’t go away even after a shower. It has a very persistent fig note; I’m sure fig lovers will adore it, but it gave me a terrible headache. Lately, everything this house releases is fruity. Please, enough is enough; I need something floral that doesn’t leave me feeling sick. The longevity is top-notch, as I said, it won’t go away even after a shower.

  • The opening of FLEUR DE FIGUIER by ROGER&GALLET is very citrusy, based on mandarin and grapefruit. I even detect an undeclared fruity note of peach. It results in a clean, fresh and pleasant accord. A few moments later, rough and green notes of fabulous fig leaves appear, blending perfectly with the citrus. I detect no coriander at any point. It evolves while maintaining the fig scent with the peach, but with a very well-executed soft musk note, neither artificial nor overpowering. To my fortune, it moves away from fruity choulis and achieves femininity with natural, fruity and citrus notes of stunning simplicity and cleanliness. This is how I think feminine perfumes should be made: with intelligence and good taste, without falling into excessive sweetness. Francis Kurkdjian is a master with musk, as demonstrated in Madame, and knows how to create whatever he desires when the work seduces him. Recently I tried one of his made quickly and half-heartedly; this is not the case here. The dry-down is a peach in syrup, woody but not cloying, rather enveloping and turgid, like a warm embrace. It’s versatile, suitable for any age and occasion. It could be unisex, though leaning more towards the feminine side. When a master wants to make a good perfume, he does.

  • A lovely scent, it smells almost as good as my fig tree. It is a very well-crafted fig smell, slightly domesticated to make it more appropriate for perfume. I love the smell of figs, so this scent was already ahead of the game. Its citrus opening is very pretty. I can say little about its dry-down; after two hours, I can barely smell it, even bringing my nose close. Yes, there is a subtle echo of fig and cedar, but that is the handicap: it doesn’t last. I don’t know if I tried the EDT or the EDP, nor even if both options exist. I will check next time. I would love to have a fig perfume that lasted longer. It was nice while it lasted.

  • A beautiful scent that smells almost as good as my own fig tree. It’s a very accomplished fig scent, yet domesticated enough to be suitable for perfume. I love the smell of fig, so this fragrance was already ahead of the game. Its citrus opening is lovely. I can say little about its dry-down; two hours after applying a spray to my arm, I smell very little, even when bringing my nose close. Yes, there’s a subtle echo of fig and cedar. This is the drawback: it doesn’t last. I’m not sure whether I tried the EDT or the EDP, nor if both versions exist. I’ll check next time. I would love a fig fragrance that lasted longer. It was lovely while it lasted.

  • GORRIÓN COMÚN

Ever since L’Oréal sold Roger & Gallet, I’ve been in a state of panic, rushing from shop to shop to stock up on the entire Fleur de Figuier line. Nothing makes you realise what you’ve been missing quite like fearing a loss. It’s a sweet fig with a perfect mandarin that balances, adds freshness, sparkle and joy. The mandarin notes are more noticeable at first, then you have to bring your nose closer, but they remain there, conducting the orchestra with a joy that brings tears to my eyes. I also detect the crisp touch of green leaves, and as it dries, it becomes warm, creamy and clean. In the dry-down, the genius of Francis Kurkdjian with the musk really shines through. I think he put a lot of love into it. I don’t see it as elegant, but very refined and chic. Due to its creamy touch, I wear it in autumn and during the day at work. The longevity is good, around seven hours, but on clothes it smells exquisite for days. After an exhausting journey, I arrived home and my eight-year-old nephew said: ‘You smell like my friend Fulanito’. I looked at him with a ‘what does that mean?’ expression. The child realised and said: ‘Don’t worry, auntie, it’s good, I really like how you smell’.

Ever since I found out L’Oréal sold Roger & Gallet, I have been in a state of panic, rushing from shop to shop to stock up on the entire Fleur de Figuier line. Nothing like fearing a loss to realise what I long for. It is a sweet fig with a perfect mandarin that balances, adds freshness, sparkle and joy. The mandarin notes are more noticeable towards the end, and then you have to bring your nose close to continue feeling them, but they remain there, directing the orchestra with a joy that brings tears to my eyes. I also perceive the crisp touch of green leaves, and when it dries it becomes warm, creamy and clean. In its dry-down, the genius of Francis Kurdjian with the musk is noticeable. I think he put a lot of love into it. I do not consider it elegant, but very fine and chic. Due to its creamy touch, I like it for autumn and to wear during the day at work. On me it lasts about 7 hours, but on clothes it smells exquisite for days. After an exhausting journey I arrived home and my 8-year-old nephew said: you smell like my friend Fulanito. I stared at him with a face saying, what does that mean? Should I be worried? The child realised and said: calm down aunt, it’s good, I like how you smell very much.

  • Smells phenomenal; if I’d known I could find it in my country, I would have bought it already. It’s an absolute treat. Smells of fresh fig and sweet leaves. Delicious. To me, it smells of white-fleshed peaches that split open on their own, along with the leaves, freshly harvested. A delight, natural and fresh.

  • This perfume smells phenomenal; if I knew I could find it in my country I would have already bought it. It is an exquisite treat. It smells of fresh fig and sweet fig leaves. Delicious!!!! Personally, it smells to me of white-fleshed peaches that split on their own, along with leaves and everything. Just harvested. A delight. Natural, fresh, exquisite!!!

  • Karmela's

A delightful scent that smells of fig. It’s sweet and has a perfectly adequate longevity for a fragrance water.

  • Psicostasis

I tried the concentrated version. At first there is a very pleasant balance between fresh and very sweet, but then the powdery notes arrive and the sweetness never retreats. Bringing my wrist close to my nose was like entering a closed kitchen where they are stirring lipstick with the carmine-pigmented wax burning bright red. Like smelling a mummy desiccated by immersion in makeup powder. Rough, hard caramel that sticks to your gums when you chew it. Something addictive in its excessiveness, but I cleaned it quickly because I was feeling extremely dizzy. And all with just one spray.

Holding your wrist to your nose is like entering a closed kitchen where lipstick is being scraped with burning carmine wax. It smells of a mummy dried in makeup powder. Rough, hard caramel that sticks to the gums. Something addictive in its excess, but I wiped it off quickly because I felt violently sick. And all with just one spray.

  • Exquisite; it’s the best from the house. Fresh, fruity and sweet, with a freshness and sweetness that come from the fig. Sometimes it smells of green leaf; anyone who has been under the tree will understand. It’s divine, with a good trail and performance. Supreme quality, zero synthetic ingredients, which make you feel and remember moments. It resembles the Italian Aqua di Parma but at a better price. It relaxes or stimulates depending on the moment. I hope I never run out.

  • Exquisite perfume, for me the best from the house. Fresh, fruity and with sweet touches, with a freshness and sweetness that come from the fig. At times you feel the green of the fig leaf; anyone who has been under this tree will understand, they are its fruits and its leaves. It is divine and has good trail and performance. It is of supreme quality, with zero synthetic ingredients, which make you feel and remember moments; in this it resembles Aqua di Parma but at a much better price. Without a doubt, a perfume that relaxes or stimulates depending on the moment. I hope I never run out.

After having smelled PHILOSYKOS by Diptyque, Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis and tried Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums, this remains my favourite fig scent. While I believe it does not recreate the smell of the fruit in its natural state, I do think it is the one that best conveys the sensation of sitting under a fig tree in summer, when some fruits have fallen and the cloying smell of their decomposition mixes with the green of the leaves. It is the smell of ancient Greece, of the Mediterranean summer. I would not change it for any other.

  • After trying PHILOSYKOS by Diptyque, Alluring Fig by Theodoros Kalotinis, and Fig Infusion by Essential Parfums, this remains my favourite fig scent. It doesn’t recreate the natural fruit 100%, but it does capture the feeling of being under a fig tree in summer, with fallen fruit and that cloying smell mixed with the green of the leaves. It’s the scent of ancient Greece, of the Mediterranean summer. I wouldn’t change it for anything else.

  • My mother gifted me this for Christmas as she knows I have a soft spot for figs. I’m a man and I adore everything Roger & Gallet, regardless of gender, but this one has let me down. It has a sweet note of fresh fig and peach (some might smell it as orange peel), but the trail is very faint and doesn’t last at all. I could finish the entire bottle in one go as it barely lasts past an hour.

  • My mother gifted it to me for Christmas because she knew I liked the scent of figs. I’m a man and I love all Roger & Gallet fragrances regardless of gender, but this has disappointed me. It has a sweet note of fresh fig and peach (some say orange peel), but the trail is soft and it lasts nothing. I could empty the entire bottle at once and it wouldn’t last an hour.

  • PacmanKinder

It’s a less polished version of Fig of Amalfi: it smells incredible, yet even if you empty the bottle, it vanishes in a minute.
