As always with this brand, it comes with a pocket spray to refresh throughout the day. The opening is super marine and cooling, plus it has a soft trail that leaves you feeling light. Over time, the amber, red apple and geranium take the lead, creating that fresh breeze you’re looking for. Ideal for extreme heat or hot nights out with friends, though it’s best suited for everyday wear.
This is my first Jafra perfume. I agree with the previous review: the opening is ultra fresh and original, but as it dries down it becomes more generic and easy to wear, like a clean shower gel. It’s not just for heat; after an hour it becomes sweet, slightly sharp and woody. On blotter it smells of tamarind (perhaps due to the geranium and apple). Some say it smells like Bvlgari Aqva Marine, which would be great. I’m liking it, but I need to test the longevity and let it macerate to see its evolution.
The previous reviews explain it well enough, but I just want to add that this smells good in formal situations and can also be worn at night without any issues.
Yesterday I went to a perfumery to smell the Aqua and Aqua Marine fragrances by Bvlgari and, although they are good, they didn’t surprise me at all. Here’s the important part: Jafra’s Aequor brings back 85% of the memory of Aqua Marine but at an unbeatable price. I prefer the Jafra one because it’s more sparkling, fresher, perhaps a bit more acidic and intense. It has acceptable longevity and a good trail. Have a look and save yourself a few pounds.
A great fragrance and very economical, perfect for summer. Its soft trail makes it ideal for hot environments, whether in the office in a semi-formal setting or at informal events; it doesn’t bother anyone. I wore it on holiday in 2019 and it lasted 3 to 4 hours very close to the skin. It’s worth spraying and you really enjoy the scent.
