My mother used to wear this in summer; it was her favourite back then. Fresh and transparent, very marine, yet with a dark, deep base like wet stones. I don’t recall any florals, just woods, without exaggeration. In the end, it left a synthetic aftertaste, but overall it smells good. Not too sweet, balanced, and clearly unisex.
At the bottom of a drawer during the pandemic, I found a bottle of Deep Water that I’d forgotten about for who knows how long. I tried it and it was in perfect condition. Upon opening, an intense marine note mixed with a strong mineral-metallic touch; it was almost like a slap in the face. Shortly after, the scent lost intensity. After two or three hours, the sea had almost vanished, leaving a gentle soapy aroma. I gave it to an aunt and she liked it, wore it well. On me, it’s too intense. I consider it unisex, leaning towards masculine.
