45/10, the best thing ever.
Spectacular! A solid 10/10. Perfect for extreme heat days. In my opinion, it’s one of Lattafa’s best. I’d buy it again without hesitation.
Bought after reading a recommendation from a friend. A very enjoyable fragrance, a creamier and sweeter grapefruit than Light Blue. Out of pure mischief, tested wrist to wrist with Tygar, the one it emulates, and the truth is, for a novice like me, they are very similar. VERY similar. And I must say honestly that Tygar became much more shy and disappeared sooner too. In terms of price there is no comparison. Perhaps the Bulgari scent is more natural? Maybe. Or perhaps it’s something I tell myself to justify the insurmountable price gap. Best regards.
I bought it on the recommendation of a colleague from this site. A very enjoyable fragrance, a creamier and sweeter bergamot than Light Blue. Out of pure curiosity, I tested it on my wrist alongside Tygar, its inspiration, and the truth is, for a novice like me, they are very similar. Extremely similar. I must confess that Tygar faded more quickly and disappeared sooner. There’s no comparison in terms of price. Perhaps Bulgari’s scent is more natural? Maybe. Or perhaps that’s just something I tell myself to justify the insurmountable price difference. Best wishes.
An incredible scent. Butooooo, on me it lasts nothing. Let’s see what use I can find for it. EDIT 11 JULY 2023 I had it and swapped it for another fragrance. Honestly, the scent isn’t bad but the performance is the worst (at least on me). I used the fragrance three times and all three times the scent vanished after 20 minutes. Obviously, I ended up devastated by such poor performance. In short, if you are one of the people where it suits and performs well, from the heart I say: how jealous I am and enjoy it much. On me, a total fiasco in performance. Even scares me to buy another from Lattafa. That’s all, sending you a huge hug and many blessings.
If I had to describe this perfume, it would be like drinking a grapefruit soda served in a wooden glass. On my skin, it lasts well; I get about six hours, but I asked several people and they say after eight hours it still smells, just very close to the skin. It projects well for the first hour and then leaves a fresh sensation. Personally, I like it, but I expected better projection given the ambroxan note, and regarding the dry down, I suppose it gives that fizzy soda feeling.
If I had to describe it, it’s like drinking a grapefruit soda in a wooden glass. On my skin it lasts well, I feel it for about 6 hours, but I asked others and they say it lasts 8 hours after application, though very close to the skin. It projects well for the first hour and then leaves a fresh sensation. I like it, but I expected better projection given the ambroxan note and that refreshing feeling.
Let’s start by saying I’m not an expert on notes. At first sniff, this reminded me of Bleu de Chanel EDP or Parfum (I couldn’t pinpoint exactly as I’ve tried them but don’t own them). I’m not saying it’s identical, but the vibe is that one. Regarding Tygar, I can’t comment as I’ve never tried it. Otherwise, it’s a standard perfume in terms of longevity and projection, doesn’t stand out in any way, but for the price you can’t ask for more. It does its job at a low cost. NOTE: Re-tested on decant. Compared to Turathi Blue, which smells practically the same, this fragrance feels very weak. It’s almost imperceptible, projects nothing in the first few hours and longevity is average. If you’re looking for that Tygar Bulgari vibe, go for Turathi Blue without a second thought, same aura with much better performance.
Tested on decant. People in Argentina, don’t fall for the hype of buying these Arab scents blindly. I understand the noise on YouTube and Fragrantica, but you can get them for $30-50 worldwide. Here you have to spend a bit more and buy designer brands. I’ve seen the Amber Oud Bleu Edition priced higher than the Bleu de Chanel tester on the grey market. The fragrance? A nice grapefruit with ambroxan. Nothing much more. It’s good, but don’t let the hype blind you.
A strange fragrance. I haven’t heard the original Bulgari, but if this is a clone, it’s very well done: elegant, masculine and sophisticated for all occasions. I own the Maison Alhambra Inmortal which smells the same but has worse quality. I prefer this one. For the price, you can’t ask for better performance. Highly recommended. Thanks Lattafa for this gem.
This scent is exquisite. I haven’t tried the Bulgari, but if this is a clone, it’s very well executed. Elegant, masculine, sophisticated, suitable for any occasion. I own the Maison Alhambra Inmortal, which is identical to this, but it has lower quality. I prefer this one. As for its performance… I don’t think you could ask for more given the price. Highly recommended. Thank you, Lattafa, for this gem.
Just bought it and it’s delightful; however, the performance is disappointing. Still, I recommend it for the pleasant scent. Once I finish it, I’ll move on to Turathi.
A very good dupe, smells delicious: freshly cut ginger, grapefruit, vetiver and sandalwood… but the projection is extremely poor, barely lasting two hours even when applied generously.
The scent is very original and fairly linear, dominated by the grapefruit which smells great, with a barely perceptible base of sandalwood and musk. The only criticism I have is the longevity: on skin, a maximum of about 6 hours, and you can still detect it until 4. I am very satisfied with the aromatic quality, but not so much with the performance
A very blue perfume, smells fantastic and lasts well. Suitable for evening too. It’s super versatile, though I’d avoid wearing it in winter.
This is an all-rounder for four seasons. It resembles the Tygar by Bvlgari much more than the Turathi Blue
Turati Blue has been my favourite fresh scent until now, one of the first I purchased. But… this Lattafa one has surprised me enormously!!! I didn’t expect that level of quality; they are very similar, but this one seemed more citrusy and natural to me. What a hit!
Turathi Blue was my favourite fresh scent until now, one of the first I bought. But this one from Lattafa has surprised me immensely; I didn’t expect that quality. They are very similar, but this one seems more citrusy and natural to me. What a hit!
I consider it the freshest and most elegant one I own, alongside Turathi Blue by Afnan, Viking Dubai by Bharara, and Jean Lowe Immortal by Maison Alhambra; all excellent dupes of the great Tygar by Bvlgari. In my opinion, the best dupe is Viking Dubai, followed by this one (Al Qiam Silver), then Turathi, and finally Jean Lore
I bought it and it’s a marvel; a very fresh and elegant citrus. On my skin, it lasts 8 hours and projects about 3 metres. I would definitely buy it again. My recommendation: let it macerate for about three weeks before using it for the first time, and it will be an absolute bombshell
I was looking for something citrusy, versatile, elegant, and with projection, and I found it. What a hit; it smells delicious; I’m smelling it while writing this. I had it tucked away for a couple of months and today I remembered that lovely aroma. That grapefruit and ginger make a winning combination, with an addictive ambroxan and a musk that makes it creamy and slightly sweet as it dries, without losing that exquisite citrus DNA. What a treat, my goodness! At first, it didn’t smell very strong, but over time it becomes fabulous. It will be one of those that if I run out, I’ll buy again. Suitable for any moment, occasion, or weather; a winning scent and a compliment magnet. I recommend it, folks
An absolute bargain; I paid $34 and it could have been cheaper, but there’s no complaint about the scent. I compared it with the two Tygar fragrances from Bvlgari, and the similarity is between 90% and 95%, although this one has more potency. It’s worth it because the originals cost nearly $500. If you want to smell delicious with incredible notes, this is your perfume; it’s one of my favourites. Also, the bottle is so sturdy that it fell from 1.5 metres and only chipped slightly; nothing serious
I tested it against the original Tygar, one in each hand, and after five minutes they were indistinguishable. It’s the perfect example of how Arab houses sometimes nail the inspiration, almost copying it word for word. In terms of longevity, it easily lasts a full day in an enclosed office, and you can still detect it hours later
A very good fragrance, citrusy and clean, but not soapy; it has a real freshness. The longevity is moderate, nothing bad, but I’m sure nobody will dislike it. Highly recommended
If I don’t know what to wear, this is my saviour. It exceeded my expectations, outperforming both Tygar and Sospiro Vibrato. If you can only buy one for extreme heat, this is the one. It smells incredible; it’s fresh yet dries down to a rich, creamy scent thanks to the musk, without being heavy. Although I prefer sweet scents and hate citrus, the grapefruit here works wonders, and the ginger gives it that unique touch that makes you want to keep smelling it. It’s superior to many and the most wearable in my collection :v
