What a delight! It opens very intensely, but you just need to let it settle. It’s unisex, though it leans towards the feminine side. It accompanies you all day and highlights the fruity notes. I adored it from the very first use.

The moment I smelled it, I thought: ‘This really smells like a sophisticated, classy Arab woman.’ It’s so rich and original. In my opinion, it’s not for girls or young women; the wearer must be a woman with class.

The first time I wore it on my arm, it didn’t convince me; it smelled of pure amber and felt rather unoriginal. However, the next day, on my sleeve, it smelled incredible. On my skin, it lingers only briefly after a shower. My mum didn’t like it when I gifted it to her, but she took it back the next day, loved it, and I ended up buying two large bottles. It lasts 12 to 15 hours on the skin and more than a day on clothes; as it fades, it leaves a clean scent, like a good soap. Although the opening seems masculine, it immediately turns sweet and feminine. I’m not much of a fan of roses, saffron, or bergamot, but I can definitely detect the pear, amber, and musk. After three hours, it reminds me of Armani Si, though without the vanilla, perhaps because they share the rose and ambroxan. I think it’s more suited to women over 35.
