The moment I smelled it, I thought: ‘This really smells like a sophisticated, classy Arab woman.’ It’s so rich and original. In my opinion, it’s not for girls or young women; this perfume is worn by a woman with class.
The first time I wore it on my arm, it didn’t convince me; it smelled too much of amber and didn’t feel particularly original. However, the scent lingered on my sleeve, and the next day it smelled delicious. On my skin, it didn’t last long after a bath. I gave it to my mum because I didn’t like it, but she took it back the next day because she loved it, and I ended up buying two large bottles. It lasts at least 12 to 15 hours on the skin and more than a day on clothes; as it fades, it leaves a clean scent, like a good soap, although its immediate opening seems masculine and quickly turns sweet and feminine. I don’t smell much of the roses, saffron, or bergamot, but I can definitely detect the pear, amber, and musk. After three hours, it reminds me of Armani Si, though without the vanilla, perhaps because they share the rose and ambroxan. I think it’s more suited to women over 35.
