It’s sweet but doesn’t veer into cloying territory. Longevity is around 7 to 8 hours and the projection is good, reaching a metre. It feels like a delicious caramel with vanilla, with just the right dose of sugar to compliment without bothering. It’s versatile, but better suited for nights, winter and autumn. Highly recommended, especially for the bottle which deserves a place centre stage in your living room.
I think it’s very pretty; the longevity is good but on my skin it stays quite soft. I detect a white flower not listed in the notes. It’s softly sweet and easy to wear.
This is a super cosy perfume, perfect for cold days where it truly shines. It opens with cardamom and Jamaican pepper, a spiced and aromatic touch that grabs you instantly. Then comes the caramel and cedar, a blend that brings warmth and sweetness, almost like a hug. Finally, the musk settles soft, slightly powdery and clean, with vanilla and amber adding depth. It’s perfect for staying in with hot chocolate and a blanket, listening to the rain. Totally evocative, very similar to Maison Margiela’s By the Fireplace, with that warm charm that embraces you from start to finish.
