Honestly, I bought it to reach the €100 threshold for free shipping, tried the EDP collection, and kept this to pair with Coffee Addict; I couldn’t have hit the mark better. Green opening, fig tree, fig tree, and more fig tree. There was a Yves Rocher cologne called fig, but it smelled like a fig tree, not a fig; this is the same, you smell the green part, the leaves, nothing sweet, very real and potent. If you close your eyes, you imagine yourself in the middle of a field. As hours pass, a super rich vanilla appears, nothing cloying or loud, that stays living with you. The first time I wore it with fresh and jersey; I left the jersey on a chair and three weeks later it still smelled, not a little. On skin, I could smell it until the end of the day; by the next day, it was gone. Totally recommended.
It opens quite green, with leaves and branches if you like. Then the power of the vanilla kicks in, and as it dries down, you’re left with the fruit, with some green notes and that comforting, vanilla-sweetened sweetness. It’s very unisex and wearable for any season. If you’re not into green scents, don’t even look at it; the opening will impact you and you probably won’t like it. Give it a chance if you’re a fig fan, as it reminds me of nothing else and it’s a fantastic offer from the Greek house T. Kalotinis, which offers extreme quality for its price. Bravo! Very original!
When they say it’s hyper-realistic, they’re not exaggerating: it is, it transcends molecules, becoming something you can touch, smell, and savour. Without false perceptions, it’s the best fig fragrance I’ve ever smelled. Upon opening it, you imagine a lush fig tree with green, shiny, rough and coarse leaves that envelop you, making you feel surrounded by fig trees with figs hanging down. After picking them, you enjoy sitting under the tree: the greenery, the sweetness, the fleshiness, and the velvet quality of the fig blend together. You can even savour that lactonic touch and coconut aftertaste, resting on a sumptuous, creamy, and smooth bourbon vanilla that balances everything. It’s not gourmand; it’s delicious. I adore Kalotinis’ creations for their authenticity and creativity; when you smell one, you know it. They have a unique personality. I bought this perfume and speak sincerely: I have three of their creations and want many more.
The most realistic fig I’ve ever tried. Everyone I asked liked it. I already own other fig fragrances that are my favourites, so I ordered this Alluring Fig without testing it first. To be honest, a little disappointed because my others are fresher. I expected the same, but don’t get me wrong: it’s a great perfume of tremendous quality. The issue is that the vanilla base isn’t my favourite and the sweetness hits a bit too hard. You can definitely smell the fig, the fruit freshly fallen from the tree, just like when my neighbours start picking them. Side note: every time I smell it, I understand it more and like it even more.
First things first, this is the most realistic fig perfume I’ve ever tried. Everyone I asked loved it. I already own other fig fragrances that are my favourites, so I ordered this Alluring Fig without testing it beforehand. To be honest, I’m a little disappointed because my other fig perfumes are fresher. I expected the same from this Alluring Fig, which, to be clear, is a high-quality fragrance, but the vanilla base isn’t my favourite and sweet scents give me a bit of a fright. You can definitely smell the fig, the fruit just fallen from the tree; one of my neighbours has a tree and I’ve caught this exact scent, or at least something very similar, when the figs start dropping to the ground. Side note, every time I smell it, I understand it better and like it more.
Hyper-realistic: the opening is pure fig leaf, then it becomes creamy, like a spa lotion with fig; it was love at first sight. It’s green and very well made. Only buy it if you really love fig; otherwise, better not.
The evolution is top-notch: it starts green and surprises you on the skin, but after half an hour it softens into a delicate green blended with vanilla and sweet fig, very edible. On my skin, it lasted from 06:40 to 18:00/19:00 without issues, until I took a shower. It’s an excellent niche fragrance if you like green and sweet scents, ideal from spring to autumn. Cheers!
I’ve never tried fig, and although I’m not a fan of greens, I recognise it as a great perfume. The opening is totally green, which I don’t like, but it’s very realistic. Once it dries and becomes sweet, I like it more. It’s pleasant for those who like fig. For me, who prefers sweet scents, it’s not much, but I recognise it’s good. Those who love green notes will surely adore it.
It is certainly achieved and smells good, but wearing it as a perfume feels strange to me, unless you want to smell like fig. It vaguely reminds me of Vicks VapoRub, something nostalgic. I keep it more as part of my collection of scents that evoke places or moments.
What a rich perfume. Smells like fig with very soft vanilla. For the price, it’s excellent if you can’t access Diptyque’s Phylosikos, which is very similar. Pity the harsh reviews; everyone smells things differently. It’s not for everyone, but for those who know and love green fig notes. Wish it came in a larger size.
What a rich perfume. Absolutely fig tree, I feel the vanilla but very soft. For the price, it’s an excellent option for those who can’t access Diptyque’s Phylosikos, which is very similar. Pity the so harsh comments; everyone perceives things differently. Watch out, it’s not for everyone; it’s for those who know and like green fig-fig tree notes. Wish it came in a larger size.
The opening is a freshly plucked fig leaf, astringent like cut sage. Then the green recedes and the vanilla rises, much like Kalotinis Mentor. It has the same structure as Mentor, but with fig instead of vetiver and a more relaxed vanilla. Not for me, but if you’re a fan of fig (not to be confused with the fruit), it’s worth trying.
One of the best dry-downs in my collection. At first, the green hits hard—fig stem and leaves—but then the sweetness of a realistic fig emerges. With wear, I already notice the sweet, creamy notes from the start and the green is less intrusive. Wish it lasted longer, but we’ll see how it evolves over time.
Luna Floral surprised me from the very first touch. Fresh citrus, an elegant floral heart, and a soft musk base. Perfect for the day; light yet characterful. I will definitely repurchase!
What a delight! Opens green and fresh, but dries down to ripe fig with soft vanilla. Blind buy and I loved it.
A pleasant surprise. At first, I was startled by that crushed leaf note—very realistic and unsweetened. After 15 minutes, the green fades and the fig with vanilla rises, creating a delicious, fresh mixture. By the end of the day, it’s almost just vanilla. It doesn’t last long and you need to be close to notice it, but I decided to buy it today. If you can handle the strong initial phase, it’s fresh, natural, and transports you to sitting under a fig tree. Worth it. Ideal for your pillow before bed, though nothing remains by morning. It has won me over, but I wouldn’t recommend a blind buy.
I’m absolutely in love; it brings back memories of my childhood walks in the countryside. It has such a unique scent that you can’t stop smelling it. A real treat.
What a stunning green opening! Once it dries, it’s a delightful vanilla and fig blend. Very good.
