Ample Oceana by Rasasi: A Floral-Spicy Oriental Perfume

Ample Oceana, from the Auraa Desire range by Rasasi, is an Oriental fragrance launched in 2024 that charms with its delicate balance of flowers, spices, and vanilla.

Created for men and women alike, it plays on the contrast between freshness and warmth, with a sweet, musky base that feels graceful and cosy.

The opening reveals floral and spicy notes, a lively blend that grabs your attention from the first spritz. A fresh, green accord lends a luminous quality, softening the Oriental edge without losing its depth.

In the heart, lily of the valley and carnation present a white floral, gently powdery character. This classic combination is given a contemporary twist by the warmth of spices, producing an enveloping and sophisticated feel.

The base comprises vanilla, amber, and musk, a trio that ensures long-lasting wear and a sensual trail. Vanilla delivers sweetness, amber brings a resinous warmth, and musk adds softness and staying power.

Ample Oceana is wonderfully versatile, fitting for evenings or milder weather. Its unisex design encourages sharing, while the moderate sillage suits both daytime and evening occasions.

Earning a perfect 5 out of 5 from early reviews, this launch from Rasasi confirms the brand's dedication to rich yet approachable creations. Vanillic, musky, and amber accords take the lead, finished with a powdery nuance that feels luxurious.

It will suit anyone looking for a modern Oriental that isn't overpowering: lovers of sweet, spicy, and floral scents, whether men or women, who enjoy an elegant and comfortable aura.

Ample Oceana is a well-rounded and seductive composition, a nod to Oriental heritage delivered with a contemporary spirit. A lovely choice for those who wish to stand out quietly.

  1. Right, I’m the first one. It’s a vanilla suede with saffron and leather. I bought it because it cloned one of my favourites, Rosendo Mateu No. 5. I’d had the brand recommended to me, and I already had the dupe of Amouage Interlude. That last one is probably the best niche-brand clone I’ve smelt, and I believe I own them all. That’s why I took a chance on Oceana and bought it blind. Anyway: the quality of the materials is very good, though I have to say it’s very oily, perhaps because it’s perfume extract. As for the scent, projection and sillage: I’ll put it like this. If you want more power, impact and to draw attention, you should go for Ishq Gold. If you want longer wear, with better quality, but within your personal bubble and with no projection whatsoever, this is the one. If you want a bit of both, I’d recommend Maison Alhambra Domino Escense (05), which is the most balanced between quality, price and longevity. If you don’t want to spend much and want a more economical option, there’s Lattafa Al Noble Ameer, which is the cheapest, at least in Argentina, but also the worst quality. In short: we have that exquisite suede scent, with saffron and vanilla and touches of light leather, not like the RM 05, but with loads of quality. Is it worth the price? Even though it’s the most expensive of the clones, the answer is yes. It lasts for ages on the skin but always within the personal bubble. Greetings to the community.
