Cognac and hazelnut shape the opening, offering a liqueur-like, roasted impression. From there the scent moves towards a sweetly spiced heart and a smooth praline and vanilla base.
The opening is rich and immediately gourmand. Cognac lends gentle boozy warmth with light sweetness, while hazelnut contributes a toasted, nutty facet. It is the most striking part of the first few moments.
At the heart are ambergris, cinnamon, oakmoss, tonka bean and sugar cane. Cinnamon provides warming spice, tonka bean and sugar cane deepen the sweetness, and oakmoss adds a green, faintly earthy counterpoint.
The base combines myrrh, praline, sandalwood, vanilla and white musk. Myrrh brings a resinous balsamic quality, sandalwood a creamy woody texture, and praline alongside vanilla keeps the trail firmly gourmand.
