  I grew up less than 500 metres from the Mediterranean, and although in summer we would escape in a Renault 18 with the family to a mountain farmhouse near the sea, always surrounded by rosemary, thyme, lavender, olive trees, fig trees and vines under a scorching sun, those scents are etched into my memory. This fragrance detects them almost photographically. It is pure low-cost, with an opening like an ‘Italian cologne’ that is excessively alcoholic, which, in my opinion, is its worst phase; after 10 or 15 minutes the alcohol gives way to those coastal scents over a citrus base and a salty touch. Its evolution is very timid and the performance is fair, typical of low-cost cologne waters (it is an EDT). I do not think I will buy it again because at this price there are better options. However, I feel very fortunate to have come across a fragrance with this evocative potential for that chapter of my life.
