Aria di Mare is an aquatic-floral fragrance with a metallic nuance very reminiscent of Laine de Verre. It makes me feel as though I’m on a ship, with waves splashing against my face as the bow cuts through them. Unlike Lutens, this is much more refined and natural, perhaps due to that white floral note that renders it feminine, cheerful, and easy to wear. The musky dry-down leaves a soft trail, like cotton, which is very comfortable. The longevity is good and the projection is spot on, making it an excellent fresh choice for summer. Rating: 7.5
