  1. Prin Lomros is a perfumer you must follow if you seek distinct proposals using high-quality natural ingredients and exotic scents. With such a vast catalogue, it’s hard not to be left indifferent. Seeing the notes for Arsalan, featuring oud and spices—ingredients recurrent in the house—I had very high expectations. My surprise was discovering it left me cold. After a delightful opening of oud, the spices fight for the spotlight until they dominate, with cumin being the most ‘overbearing’. The dry-down is that typical Prin finish, which isn’t bad, but after sampling the collection, it gives the impression of being more of the same. His proposals are brilliant, different, and challenging, yet Arsalan is a fragrance you can easily skip. Cheers.
