I went for it blindly based on the notes and it didn’t disappoint; quite the opposite, the blend has really won me over. What strikes me most are the nutmeg, tonka and woods, with a touch of cardamom and patchouli. Everything is very balanced and unisex. Forget about it being the same as Tom Ford’s Black Orchid; this scent suits me far better. It’s more manageable and wearable, whereas BO leaves me feeling too potent and even masculine. Aurelia is fresh yet has that spiced warmth, aromatic and very woody, finished with a dreamy vanilla base.
