I’m the first to review this and I’ll get straight to the point. There’s a lot of hype on YouTube about Azzaro’s Sensual Blends line, especially Ginger Lover. They say it’s enchanting, attracts compliments, and projects well. The truth is, it smells like artificial orange soda with a hint of ginger; as it dries down, it tastes like cheap orange candy from party favours. It lacks presence, masculinity, or distinction. I don’t want to smell like spilled soda. Some call it ‘blue’ like Bleu de Chanel, but I don’t see it that way. It’s ideal for a nephew who loves sweets. Scent 5, Longevity 5, Projection 6, Affordable price.

What a find: I applied the Ultimate version on one arm and Ginger Lover on the other, and they are very similar. Perhaps Ultimate smells a bit cleaner, but if you don’t compare them side by side, it gives the impression of wearing the same fragrance with a slight difference; plus, this one lasts longer. Excellent purchase, and I’m more enchanted with this Sensual Blends collection every day. I liked Amber Fever and now Ginger Lover too. Now off to get Wild Mint.
What a find! I applied Ultimo on one arm and Ginger Lover on the other, and they are very similar, though Ultimo smells cleaner. If you don’t test them side by side, it feels like wearing Ultimo with a slight twist, but Ginger Lover lasts longer. Brilliant purchase, and I’m falling in love with the Sensual Blends collection more every day. I loved Amber Fever and this too, so now I’m off to get Wild Mint.
