Today I received this little gem… It smells strong, confusing and strangely charming. I don’t know what it smells like, but over time it’s a mix of Tonka, Another 13 and vetiver, or perhaps my perception makes me travel when I smell it on my wrist. It’s muuuuch rich! I ordered it blind and I’m happy.

  • Few reviews of this Le Labo, which is expensive in Mexico. Opens medicinal (perhaps due to the musk and ambroxan), then takes on a green tone and lets the juniper berries pass. I liked it but didn’t love it. Like PlayCue, the price, performance, and longevity leave much to be desired.

I tried it, it’s rich but reminded me 90% of Bulgari’s Glacial Essence. At five hours a friend asked if I was wearing Polo Blue. The performance leaves much to be desired.

  • One of those rare perfumes but not impossible to find: ozonic water in a terrestrial forest, musk and ambroxan in abundance. Very personal (low projection) but changes your mood instantly.

  • One of those perfumes that isn’t particularly rare, yet in the sense that you can’t find another that even resembles it. It’s a blend of ozonic water, earthy woods, musk, and ambroxan everywhere. These are very personal fragrances as they don’t project much, but they instantly lift your mood.

  • So far, my favourite from Le Labo after The Matcha 26. I popped into the store to try The Noir 29, but the sales assistant recommended Baie 19, which I hadn’t even heard of. I tested it on blotter and loved it, returned to try it on skin, and eventually bought the 50ml bottle. It’s a unique, ozonic scent with something citrusy and crisp, boasting above-average longevity and sillage. It has dethroned Creed’s SMW as my signature fragrance.

  • My favourite Le Labo so far, surpassing The Matcha 26. I tried The Noir 29 and was recommended Baie 19, which I didn’t even know. I loved it on paper, then on skin I bought the 50ml. Unique aroma, ozonic, citrusy and crisp. Longevity and sillage above average. It has already dethroned Creed’s SMW as my signature.

  • No, no and no. It reminded me of Mugler’s Angel, which smells of alcohol and camphor. The seller said it had moss, but I swear I don’t notice it.

  • No, no, and no. It suddenly reminded me of Mugler’s Angel, because for me, that one smells of alcohol and camphor, and the same thing happened here. The assistant in the boutique told me it had moss, but I swear I can’t detect it at all.

At first it didn’t convince me, but the next day it was incredible. Green and earthy patchouli with ozonic notes, very addictive. It doesn’t project much but lasts for hours and that scent reaches you at times. Smells great like rain after the sun. Spectacular!

At first, it didn’t surprise me, but as the day went on, it seemed incredible. It features an earthy, green patchouli surrounded by ozonic notes that make it highly addictive. It’s not the most projecting perfume, but it lasts a long time and that scent occasionally reaches you. It smells like after rain following a sunny day, in the best possible way. Simply spectacular!

Review after 12 wears: simple but brutal. Three key notes: fresh and clean (juniper + ozonic), green and earthy (patchouli + leaves), and an energetic base (ambroxan + musk). The opening with juniper and patchouli polarises; it seems alcoholic but isn’t unpleasant. It then becomes unique and clean, ideal for any season. People say it smells like rain and wet earth, but on those days it makes me gag; it sounds cloying and redundant with the environment. I’d use it another day. Moderate longevity, subtle but not embarrassing, fantastic quality.
