Le Labo's Rose 31 is a musky floral woody fragrance from the olfactive family, designed for men and women. Launched in 2006, this composition was created by perfumer Daphné Bugey. In its top notes, rose is accompanied by cumin; the heart reveals a harmony between rose, vetiver and cedar; while the base notes evoke a sensory depth thanks to the presence of musk, guaiac wood, oud, frankincense and labdanum.

Clean rose, with an aldehydic texture and a touch of incense. It smells wonderful and stays even better.
Rose is usually my difficult note; generally, I shy away from it… well, in this one I absolutely love it.
Bitter rose over a base of cedar and vetiver with lots of cumin, alongside oud. It is truly an exquisite creation; the opening doesn’t quite convince me, but after a few minutes it intensifies and becomes a masterpiece of perfumery. If you like that dark rose, I recommend buying it, just be aware the cumin is very noticeable and it has great longevity for wearing all the time. Otherwise, nothing more to add.
It seems the correct name is Comino 31. Over those 4-5 hours it lasts (excluding projection, which is almost non-existent), it smells purely of cumin and more cumin, with a hint of rose and cedar very deep down.
