About Bitter Sweet
Bitter Sweet by Bujairami Explores Light and Shade
Created by Adam Bujairami, Bitter Sweet is Bujairami's 2026 feminine entry in the woody oriental genre.
The composition is built around duality, pairing a crisp citrus-spice prelude with a drier woodland heart and a mellow, moss-tinged drydown.
It opens with grapefruit, jasmine and pink pepper. The grapefruit is brisk and juicy, the jasmine keeps things pale and floral, and the pink pepper adds gentle piquancy.
At its centre lie fir, saffron and cedar. Fir lends a cool coniferous note, cedar supplies pared-back timber, while saffron offers a restrained, leathery warmth.
The foundation rests on musk, amber and oakmoss. Musk provides a powder-soft blur, amber a golden cushion, and oakmoss a woodland, earthy finish.
The impression is predominantly woody and musky, threaded with white flowers, moss, citrus, amber and aromatic nuances, balancing fresh spice against a warmer spiced undertow.
It will appeal to women who favour woody orientals with clarity: lively to begin with, coniferous and dry through the middle, then smooth and ambery on skin.
As a study in contrasts, Bitter Sweet succeeds, moving from luminous citrus to disciplined woods before resting on a comforting amber and oakmoss accord.
