I suspect this perfume will sell poorly. It feels very far removed from commercial scents. At first, it smells somewhat of an old, used book: oud, leather, and a spicy touch. After a while, it settles and lasts about five hours. The scent doesn’t change much, but the intensity drops, making it more wearable. A mature, serious fragrance with quite acceptable value for money, especially considering the three-figure price tags that are becoming increasingly common.
A fragrance far from current commercial trends, yet with very short trail and longevity on my skin. It opens spicy with that slightly sharp cardamom, very reminiscent of Versace Oud Noir, then settles over a bed of oud with a hint of leather. For the price, it’s a fantastic Zara scent. Highly recommended for cold days or temperate offices. As it has a light trail, it’s not overwhelming, and although it may not suit everyone, it is very wearable.
Perhaps it has a little oud and cardamomo DNA, but it’s also a rougher, harder oud and leather. Then, strangely enough, it shares some points with the citrus and aquatic notes of Virtuous Oud. It’s quite airy and the longevity is just about right. At 13 euros on sale, you can’t ask for more, but I don’t think it will feature much in my collection.

It’s the worst thing I’ve ever tried. The only good thing is it lasts; I had to remove it with washing-up liquid and wash myself three times.

It’s a shame they’ve discontinued it and I didn’t buy more bottles; the scent is brilliant and I can’t find anything else like it, not even at that price.
