This pink-oud combo caught me off guard. Although I’m not an expert with this DNA, it smells distinctly different. From the start, the rose and oud feel airier and more versatile; the opening is citrusy, aldehydic, and aromatic—I even detect the rose stem, which I adore. It’s addictive. The dry-down never turns dark; instead, spices and a floral note keep the brightness alive. By the end, the wood and suede add seriousness without losing that fresh aldehydic character. It gives me energy and I always feel fresh. It’s a fragrance with serious presence and packaging that’s nothing short of beastly, exuding elegance and character. Not ideal for very hot days, but perfect for formal or semi-formal occasions with an outrageous longevity. I can smell it for hours. I expected something darker and less versatile, but it’s not like that. The only drawback is the prohibitive price I simply can’t justify. Otherwise, 10/10.
