Descripción
Burberry Body Eau de Toilette is a fruity chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2012, this olfactive composition was created by perfumer Michel Almairac. Upon release, the fragrance unfolds a vibrant freshness thanks to green apple, absinthe, and peach. The heart reveals floral and woody elegance with rose, tea, and sandalwood, while the base settles into a sensual warmth formed by musk, cashmere wood, vanilla, and amber.

It’s an EDT that feels very pleasant upon application, like a burst of rose, apple, and amber-vanilla with a green touch… it gives a fairly comfortable sensation, especially if you use it in the morning after a bath and get ready for your day. Over time, it softens and blends with the skin… the feeling it conveys is ‘smells good, feels good’. The fruity chypre category suits it perfectly. It’s a discreet and comfortable aroma. Its ingredients are mixed in such a way that it’s neither too sweet nor too warm, nor too fresh nor too floral… and yet it brings all of that together. It’s not susceptible to categorisation nor excessive in anything. I consider it suitable for daily use, during daytime hours, for women of any age and activity. It’s one of those that could be used as a ‘workhorse’, without you looking out of place… without that meaning it suits everyone’s taste. Overall, it conveys comfort and ‘healthy living’. I see it on women who get up early (because they want to) to exercise, whether mentally, spiritually, or physically; then they attend to their duties with a good face; they eat well, drink moderately, have well-defined tastes, like the organic vibe, and are sophisticated. I liked it, I would be tempted to buy it on offer.
I won’t add anything to Azurita’s review. I share their opinion. It’s comfortable; on my skin, it lasts even beyond six hours, less intense but still there. It doesn’t have a huge trail, but you feel it with every movement, extending the sensation of freshness after a morning shower and stepping out into the world. I’m wearing it in the mild summer in northern France and it’s very pleasant, even at midday when the thermometer rises.
It’s a good perfume, a subtle but delicious aroma. It has sweet notes but not so much as to be overwhelming; it has good longevity and, in my opinion, is for daytime occasions. A pleasure to have had it.
Smells like a beautiful woman after making love between fine sheets in a luxury hotel in Paris. It’s astonishing how it blends with the skin, as if emanating from your own body, pouring out a silky, intimate warmth. It should be called ‘Burberry Skin’ or ‘Warm Skin’. You have to squint to distinguish the notes, as they are perfectly blended into a seamless ensemble: creamy, slightly soapy, brushing against sweetness without falling into it. The apple is the clearest accord, but it’s the only one that fades in a few minutes. Then the magic begins with the orientaled peach, orchid, and vanilla with a touch of sandalwood. The initial sweetness is cut by the absinthe, which doesn’t shine on its own but acts as a counterweight. The floral air I attribute to the rose, which isn’t the protagonist but adds something valuable, like a child scattering petals in the path of the newlyweds. If I had to define it with a single adjective, it would undoubtedly be seductive. It’s exquisite.
What a delicate and rich aroma. An exquisite breeze of apple, peach, and tea. It’s energising, elegant, and addictive because I can’t stop smelling my wrist. It has a moderate trail, but it’s noticeable with every movement. It’s a lovely eau de toilette that I would buy again.
Bought it blindfolded, expecting it to be soft based on the reviews, but on my skin it’s quite potent. It smells just like DKNY Amber (the yellow apple), though a bit more powdery. I own both, and for someone with a less expert nose, they’re practically the same. Lots of apple, amber, tea, and musk. It’s decent, but it’s the least good of the Burberrys I’ve tried; I prefer the EDP. We’ll see how it evolves over the days.
I bought this blind, expecting a delicate scent based on the reviews, but it’s quite potent on my skin. It smells very similar to DKNY Amber (the yellow apple), just a bit more powdery. I own both and for a less discerning nose, they’re practically identical. Lots of apple, amber, tea, and musk. It’s decent, but of the Burberry range, this is the one I like least; I absolutely adore the EDP. We’ll see how it develops over the next few days.
