About Bourbon Dusk
Bourbon Dusk: Spiced Citrus Settling into Bourbon and Woods
From MÁNO x MNRL, Bourbon Dusk is a woody spicy creation for women and men, launched in 2026. The composition is credited to perfumer Paulo de Moraes.
Bergamot, cardamom and orange lead into citron, jasmine and rose, before a foundation of oud wood, bourbon whisky and cedar takes over.
At first, the emphasis is on radiance with an edge. Bergamot and orange feel juicy and bright, sharpened by cardamom’s fresh, faintly aromatic spice.
The heart refines that brightness. Citron lends a zesty, green-citrus clarity, while jasmine offers pale floral lift and rose contributes a softer, well-kept fullness. The florals stay fresh rather than powdery.
The drydown brings the dusk of the title. Bourbon whisky lends mellow, liquorous warmth, oud wood supplies dry depth with a resinous touch, and cedar keeps the base trimmed and elegant.
The overall character spans citrus, warm and fresh spice, woods, white florals and rose, with an aromatic undercurrent. It grows gradually richer while retaining a crisp outline.
As a unisex wear, it avoids heaviness and keeps the floral-woody dialogue in balance. It sits naturally from late afternoon onwards, when the shift from sparkling head to enveloping base feels most telling.
It will suit those who enjoy shared woody spicy scents with a citrus opening, a neat jasmine and rose centre, and a drydown centred on bourbon, oud and cedar.
Bourbon Dusk charts a measured passage from light to shade: lively citrus, composed florals, then whisky and woods. A tidy, assured addition to the contemporary woody spicy repertoire.
