Stepping out of your comfort zone with fragrances like this one is a surprise. At first, my nose detects something reminiscent of Coca-Cola, though it isn’t the real thing—just a fleeting nod that lasts a few minutes. I suppose it’s the combination of orange peel, lime, and cognac. Once it dries down, myrrh, tonka bean, and a woody vanilla emerge, clouding the senses. Although I’m not entirely sure what opium smells like, it adds a resinous touch, transforming the scent from sparkling to a delicious, spicy woody accord. Another perfume for the wishlist; it has to be mine. I can’t stop sniffing my arm. Impeccable longevity and a moderate sillage.
