Extremely masculine, I say this to complement the previous reviews. It brings back memories of the scent my grandfather used; I adore them for the nostalgia, but they aren’t for everyone.
Extremely masculine, I say this to add to the other two reviews here. It reminds me of the fragrance my grandfather used, just like with Love Triumphs Over War; I adore them for the nostalgia, but they aren’t for everyone.
Brivido della Caccia is a version of Memo’s Irish Leather, where yerba mate, leather, juniper, and violet lead a scent that is less dense and sweet than the original, leaving it more balanced and versatile for temperate climates. I like the balance, although I’ve never been a fan of that Memo and it doesn’t convince me here either. The downside is that it’s not original and the bar set by Triumph of Bacchus is incredibly high. I know Argos already has more perfumes, so I’m hoping for more surprises than ‘inspirations’. Note: 6/10 Tried from the Discovery Set.
From my point of view, it’s very masculine, without offending any woman who might like it, as all tastes are valid. It smells of leather, very realistic, like getting into a car with new upholstery, but with a herbal touch of birch. It smells different to anything I’ve tried. The Italian name means ‘chill of the hunt’; I don’t know if Argos suggests it’s for picking up women. I see it more as a boss perfume, for a middle-aged man with character and authority, a type like Gordon Gekko from Wall Street.
