This ‘perfume’ is the biggest motherfucking mistake in Mexican perfumery. Supposed experts like Pisello and Israel Moreno couldn’t possibly construct a composition like this. Let’s be honest: four thousand pesos for this, literally with tequila thrown in? No, gentlemen, how little… Tell it to smell natural and last, but it doesn’t comply with IFRA regulations. They weren’t put there to cause harm; they exist to prevent this from being released, yet in Mexico, it seems to matter not. It’s not as Pisello/Alejandro claim that ‘one takes the perfume to INFRA for approval’. Who handled it? They were pulled well short. Regulations are amendments for perfumers to study. It’s not that cinnamon, cardamom, or cloves are ‘hypoallergenic’ as Alejandro stated; their derivatives contain eugenol and cinnamaldehyde which must be regulated to avoid burning the skin, and anyone will suffer if these aren’t respected. If the composition were in order, it would have birch tar, ionones, tobacco aroma chemicals, etc. Literally throwing tequila in is not a professional approach. If they bring it down to 500 pesos or less and it doesn’t irritate the skin, fine; otherwise, don’t even think about it.

I watched a quick video of the perfumer and it seems he mixed ready-made perfumes, something he himself confirms in the comments. It’s amusing to think someone would reply, but the intelligent realise he meant it was a pre-made layering with random additions that he may not have tested properly. Furthermore, he named self-taught perfumers and claimed Sauvage wasn’t made with a ‘licence’, implying a lack of formal education. I suppose he ignores that he worked at Mane and studied at Givaudan. Perhaps there are more, but if you have the money for this, buy any of the ones he himself named; you’ll get something purer and less twisted.

I bought decants in Mexico and it is clearly a blend of known essences. It is to be expected because there is no real perfumer behind it, but someone who thinks you can distil starfish to give it a marine touch. Pisello represents all that is wrong in artisanal perfumery; at first glance it looks like a parody but it is a danger to the industry. Go watch the channel and if you can bear to finish a video, you will realise.

Why compare it to 7 Mâle? That one is actually worth its price and doesn’t deceive. Secondly: the black colour of the liquid and the lack of professionalism lead me to classify it as potentially carcinogenic for leather, with smoky notes; they use tar. NEVER use it on skin. Anything amber or ruby is already a warning, but this is black. Do not play with this.

The worst perfume I’ve ever heard of, what a shame people ask for it. It damages perfumery with these aromatisers and that’s putting it mildly. Don’t buy it, now that it’s so expensive it smells like cheap tequila with cheap flowers from fake perfumes. Honestly, disgusting.

I don’t know, I don’t believe Jackali knows anything about perfumery and that this fragrance is up to the price they charge for people to buy, try and review it… hahaha. P.S. I know this perfume because I gave it to my husband.

An excellent perfume, the tequila really comes through. I’d describe it as a blend of leathers, tequila, lemon and salt; it’s incredible that there are perfumers daring to innovate like this with such good quality.

I believe it is a scam; I will never pay that price for this.
