I’ve been a fan of Escada’s summer perfumes ever since I bought Pacific Paradise. As soon as I can, I’ll buy this one!

  • Mariana7945

As I said, I tried it and bought it. Although Escada’s summer perfumes are usually for morning or afternoon, this one is sweeter than previous years, so I see it as perfect for evening. The cherry note takes centre stage, but the combination is unique and brilliant. Sweet without being heavy, cheerful, youthful and elegant.

  • Very fresh and enveloping; the sweetness of the cherry dominates the entire scent. A youthful and special fragrance, very much of spring, ideal for an afternoon or evening this season. I love it!

  • I searched for six months for a perfume with which I could identify, tried countless ones, and one day someone presented this to me; I loved it immediately. It’s cheerful, youthful, I adore it, it gives me energy, and it smells very delicious. 😉

I work in a perfumerie and I loved this perfume because its fruity and sweet notes remind me a lot of my favourite flower, which has nothing to do with its scent. But I’ve always said that perfumes are for remembering good moments in life.

  • MMM it didn’t seem that delicious to me! It has a cherry aroma, it’s sweet, but it doesn’t last very long. It lacks a touch to make it more original.

  • Harpagofita

I just came out of the perfumerie trying it on. Personally, I haven’t liked it much. At first, it smells strongly of acidic cherry, but it evaporates quickly and leaves a very light trail of something sweet (probably marshmallow). It doesn’t seem anything special to pay nearly 60 euros for. An acidic cherry scent that fades fast and leaves very little sweetness behind.

I just left the perfumerie, dabbing some on to try it… Personally, I didn’t like it much. At first, there’s quite a strong ‘acidic cherry’ smell, but it evaporates quickly and smells sweet (probably marshmallow, judging by the composition…) but, honestly, very little… it doesn’t seem anything special to pay nearly 60 euros for… An acidic cherry scent that disappears quickly, leaving only a VERY faint trail of something sweet….

I’ve been using it a lot lately and still hold the same opinion as when I bought it; I absolutely adore it. However… it doesn’t last at all! It really annoys me; all the new perfumes are the same—they don’t last and you pay for them as if they were concentrated extracts or something similar, meaning they’re expensive. It’s not just this brand; they all do the same thing.

  • It’s the one I’ve repurchased most often. I love that touch of brown sugar mixed with cherry and gardenia. It smells delicious and lasts a very long time. I hope Escada doesn’t stop producing it; there aren’t many EDTs of this quality.

I liked this perfume; the cherry note is noticeable and makes me want to eat it myself. The downside is that it has poor longevity, at least that’s what I felt.

  • The acidity of the cherry with the sandalwood or white flowers reminds me of Nina de Nina Ricci, I’m not sure. After drying down, it stays strong for a while before a sweeter cherry note emerges, reminiscent of Dior Addict Eau Delice and Kenzo Amour Indian Holi. Finally, with the heat of the skin, it becomes the synthetic floor-wax scent of cherry, which is disappointing 🙁 Nevertheless, I still adore Escada scents immensely; they are so cheerful.- 😉

  • poisonismypotion

It’s an absolute madness of sweetness. The cherry combined with marshmallow turns it into a summer and spring bomb. It’s the quintessential perfume for teenagers, and I have no regrets about buying it 😀

  • poisonismypotion

It’s a muuuuuch too sweet perfume. The cherry and marshmallow make this scent a summer and spring bomb. Definitely for teenagers. I’m not regretting buying it 😀

  • What on earth? IT’S SUPER DELICIOUS! My god, of the fruity perfumes I know, it seems to be the most delicious thing there can be, alongside Born in Paradise, I don’t know which of the two I like more. This scent is exquisite, sweet, fresh, soft, creamy, with a touch of acidity that prevents it from being cloying, I’m in love. As for longevity and projection, I’d say moderate and that it works better in summer, during the day, but I use it in winter too because I love it so much and I just reapply it and that’s it. I hope that despite being a limited edition I can still get hold of it because I don’t have enough money to buy many reserve bottles 🙁

So rich!!!! I love it and can’t find it anywhere… It’s a very rich and intoxicating scent, the only detail is that it doesn’t last long.

  • It’s a marvel from Escada that passed by so quickly that few found it. Perfect for spring, perhaps for summer too, but Escada has others that are more tropical. Cherry in the Air is a springtime of watery caramel cherry, light and sophisticated, like smelling sugar sticks being made. It has a pleasant acidity from bergamot and grapefruit that balances the cherry, which doesn’t smell synthetic. It’s fresh with a well-integrated sweetness. It has a friendly teenage elegance, like a dynamic and simple young woman. Lasts six hours. It resembles Les Délices by Nina Ricci, but this has fewer flowers and I prefer it for spring, whereas Les Délices is better for autumn.

  • This perfume is a marvel from Escada that passed so quickly in its season that few people found it. It’s perfect for spring; perhaps it works a bit for summer, but for that Escada has other more tropical treasures. Cherry in the Air is a spring of fine watery caramel cherry, light and sophisticated, like smelling the process of making candy sticks. It has a very pleasant acidity of bergamot and grapefruit that is soft, they are not the protagonists and balance the cherry very well, which surprisingly doesn’t smell synthetic. It’s a beauty: fresh with a well-integrated sweetness. It doesn’t have a strong character, but it has an adolescent elegance that creates sympathy. I imagine a young woman, dynamic, excited to know the world and speak other languages, simple but well-cared for. It’s a very nice scent for spring. It lasts about six hours. It reminds me of Les Délices by Nina Ricci, but Les Délices has much more accentuated floral notes and is a bit deeper. Of the two, for spring I prefer Cherry in the Air and for autumn Les Délices.

  • Smells good, although sometimes I notice a synthetic touch. The acidic cherry is very noticeable, then the marshmallow note appears. Its longevity is weak, but its sillage is moderate.

I love Escada’s summer editions, but I’ve never managed to connect with any because they give me terrible headaches after a while. This was the exception: I tried it at the stand, waited, and no headache. What stood out were marshmallows covered in red fruit jam with cherry (a bit synthetic), but it reminded me of something I couldn’t quite identify. My partner, who was in the video games section, said: ‘you smell like cherry cough syrup’. I went back to smell my wrist and he was right; it smelled exactly like that. The most curious thing is that it has good longevity (it’s rare for scents to last on me) and a scandalous sillage. No point, I’ll keep looking for an Escada that clicks with me.

  • I tried it today. I like fruity and fresh aromas, but this is very sweet. At first it’s acidic cherry, but it turns into jam, like cherries with candies. Fortunately, it doesn’t last long, it borders on gourmand, and my skin simply doesn’t get along with these scents.

  • I tried it today. I like fruity and fresh scents, but this one is too sweet. At the start, you feel acidic cherry, but it transforms into jam, as if mixing cherries with sweets. Fortunately, the longevity is short. Far from being a fruity floral, for me it borders on gourmand, and my skin just doesn’t get along with these scents.

  • Cherry in the Air was a gift. I used it at first but it never quite convinced me; now I associate it with a strong liqueur and say no more, it’s not for me, so I gave it to someone else. Too acidic, it smells like syrup to me.

  • Naniferreiro

Cherries in the air… it has the sweetness and acidity of ripe cherries. A fresh and clean fragrance, a scent of just-showered freshness. I love it, just like all of Escada’s. Discreet but with presence.

  • Naniferreiro

Cherries in the air… it has the sweetness and acidity of ripe cherries. It’s fresh and clean, smelling like just out of the shower. I love it, just like all of Escada’s scents. Discreet but with presence.

  • Smells of caramel or a cherry lollipop. I took five years to finish that 30ml bottle because, for me, it was excessively sweet. Longevity is around four hours and the sillage is moderate.

  • It makes me want to drink the bottle. I’ve kept it for spring; it’s sweet but not cloying or headache-inducing. Smells fantastic, soft, just what one looks for in the heat.

  • I bought a small bottle at the end of the season and fell in love, then went crazy trying to find it again, but I couldn’t get it anywhere, not even online; it simply vanished. That’s the thing with Escada summer perfumes: if you’re not quick, you’re left without it.

  • I had high expectations… I bought it blindly today and regretted it immensely. It wasn’t bad in the bottle, but on the skin or clothes, it’s unbearable. I can’t stand the scent. I don’t recommend buying it blindly; test it first just in case. I was guided by so many lovely references, only to end up with a complete fiasco.

  • I thought it was enchanting after reading a review, something I felt I needed. I imagined it as super sweet with a tart cherry aroma. Having read it smelled like heart-shaped cherry lollipops (like Cupido), I expected it to be exquisite. A friend managed to get it for me as it was hard to find. It arrived yesterday, and upon testing, it initially smelled sweet and synthetic, not like cherry at all, more akin to a Coty or Victoria’s Secret body mist. It wasn’t anything special, a scent I’d encountered before. After three minutes on the skin, it started to smell delightful, like fresh, floral red fruit soap. Finally, it left a subtle caramel trail. The truth is, it wasn’t what I imagined, and those claiming it smells like a cherry lollipop are mistaken.

  • SweetMacarena

I bought it because I enjoy sweet cherry notes. It smells nice, but I wouldn’t repurchase as it’s rather bland. The scent is linear: sweet, soapy cherry from start to finish. Longevity and projection are poor, so this marks the beginning and end of my experience with this house; all their fragrances seem to perform the same.

  • Candycandy40

Cherry in the Air is an Escada summer edition that initially went unnoticed, yet now everyone is hunting for it. It opens with a fairly synthetic, tart cherry note, but the dry-down is lovely. It offers average projection and longevity. While not the best summer release from Escada, its original cherry scent appeals greatly to fruit lovers. Personally, I’d prefer Prada Candy Gloss or Lolita Lempicka’s Sweet for a cherry fragrance. Still, it’s a beautiful scent for spring.

  • Smells of cherries and marshmallows. Although it’s very sweet, I don’t consider it childish. I wore it for a year at university and everyone asked what perfume I was wearing. It matched my skin well; on me it smelled like Bowling (that caramel on a stick from Chile). It lasts about four to five hours with moderate sillage. I am certainly a widow of Cherry in the Air.

  • It’s fruity, sparkling and effervescent. On my nose, its opening is like a cherry soda that gradually loses its fizz to settle into a creamy, cherryed, sweet and slightly floral aroma. It’s very enjoyable on days of moderate temperature, but the only downside is that it has little intensity and longevity, almost nothing. Unless you soak in it, you won’t be detected unless someone is very close.

  • DO NOT BUY THIS YET. Previously, upon release, I would have bought it. Now it’s vintage and asking between $150 and $250, which isn’t worth it. It doesn’t last long and its sillage is soft. I used it in 2013 and it lasted about four hours with soft sillage; if I soaked in it, it reached six. It’s lovely, fresh, sweet with a touch of mandarin acidity, nothing cloying. It’s youthful; I can’t see myself wearing it in spring-summer at almost 32. If you want similar fresh cherries, the BBW Japanese Cherry Blossom mist works perfectly.

  • I bought it because people said it smelled like the Tutsi Pop palette, but no, it smells terrible, like cough syrup. I picked it up at Sears and they swapped it for another from the same brand because I’d touched it, but I kept it because I simply didn’t like the scent. The same goes for La Petite Robe Noire EDT; supposedly cherry, but it smells like floor cleaner. I don’t understand the hype if they smell so bad.

  • Smells of cherry, but be warned: if you over-spray, it tastes like cough syrup. It reminds me of cherry gelatin powder dissolving in hot water. You have to reapply it constantly; better to look for a body splash that mimics this, as there are several available.
