Cosmoloid
Lives up to its name, Colonia. Monegal creates a simple yet elegant fragrance that stands apart from the usual EDT with a warm, woody depth. It reminds me of ‘Entre Naranjos’ but with less body. It starts very citrusy and bright, ideal for after a shower, with a wide range of citrus notes at the opening. What sets it apart are those subtle notes of blackberry and a base of sandalwood and patchouli that add warmth as it dries. It has an acceptable longevity; initially, the lemon and bergamota persist, before leaving a skin-scent from the base notes. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable. I define it as elegant and clean, one that you can spray without overdoing it. At a good price, it is well worth it.
