Antonio Miro Colonia is an aromatic citrus fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2003, this cologne was created by Ramon Monegal. The top notes include petit grain, bergamot, Amalfi lemon and mandarin; the heart notes are sage and blackcurrant; and the base notes consist of sandalwood and patchouli.

Lives up to its name, Colonia. Monegal creates a simple yet elegant fragrance that stands apart from the usual EDT with a warm, woody depth. It reminds me of ‘Entre Naranjos’ but with less body. It starts very citrusy and bright, ideal for after a shower, with a wide range of citrus notes at the opening. What sets it apart are those subtle notes of blackberry and a base of sandalwood and patchouli that add warmth as it dries. It has an acceptable longevity; initially, the lemon and bergamota persist, before leaving a skin-scent from the base notes. The quality of the ingredients is noticeable. I define it as elegant and clean, one that you can spray without overdoing it. At a good price, it is well worth it.
