  1. Reminds me of the great classics of men’s perfumery. The name alone betrays that northern spirit of the Bogner house. Upon opening, it smells of an intense forest with hints of anise, over a very dirty, animalic musk that made me think of the dried-down of Roudnitska’s Moustache (1948) with that horsehair scent, but then it turns 90 degrees and dives straight into the base of Breil-Radius’s Worth pour Homme (1932); let us not forget that this fragrance inspired many, and Deep Forest is no exception. As the forest impression fades, it leaves a classic, soapy, sweet effect, with a kinship to Paco Rabanne Pour Homme but a closer match to Worth. Given its launch date, it seems an attempt to bring back those great classic creations that disappeared from shops in the 90s to make way for the modern. Longevity is a little below average and projection lasts around three hours. Ideal for autumn, where it lends a neat and classic aura. If you wanted to know the legendary Worth pour Homme, here is the answer.
