I visited Le Secret du Marais in Madrid to try out Widian and Delma perfumes; Delma was my favourite among those I sampled, though I will continue researching the brand. To my nose, it is a sharp floral blending the freshness of white florals with a spiky geranium, powdery heliotrope, the sweetness of peach and perhaps marshmallow, with a soft suede base. It is elegant, slightly soapy, with classic tints and is eminently feminine. It bears a distant resemblance to D&G Pour Femme but is less sweet, more complex and balanced. The trail is moderate and lasted around 9 hours on my skin. I liked it but it didn’t win me over; given the high price, it doesn’t make it into my collection. Scent 7/10, Longevity 9/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 3/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 8.5/10. Would I buy it again? I didn’t purchase it.
