The name does not fail: this Desert Rose is deep and characterful, nothing powdery. The elegant oud envelops it without making it dirty or aggressive. From the start, the blend of rose and oud screams refined masculinity. The white flowers are there, but they don’t steal the show from the star. After a few minutes, the rose settles and the whites recede to the background, leaving a warm, sober base. Performance is very good: correct longevity and moderate sillage that doesn’t overwhelm. Ideal for formal or semi-formal winter events in a black suit. It might remind you a little of Oud Ispahan due to the theme, but it has its own identity and is a rival-less-priced oriental floral gem.
