The king of citrus worldwide: sparkling, green, clean, with that soapy touch that gives energy. After 15 years in my life, it’s my faithful companion every week. Pure freshness and neatness. Simply perfect.

I tried it today and loved it; it’s luminous and energetic. On my skin it still lasts after 8 hours, ideal for spring and summer. The only drawback is the high price, so I’ll think about it.

It leaves me light and vibrant, perfect for the heat. Fresh without losing complexity, it smells like lemonade with ice under the sun. The projection is moderate, just what I’m looking for. The downside is it doesn’t last long, but I think I’ll repurchase.

It leaves me feeling super light and energised, perfect for hot weather. Fresh yet characterful, it smells like an icy lemonade under the sun. The projection is just right for what I’m looking for, though it fades quickly. Despite that, I’ll be buying it again.

I had a sample and tried it today. My boyfriend didn’t like it much; it smelled like a plant (logical, haha), he gave it a 5.2. To me, although very herbal, it smells great. Super unisex and perfect for spring/summer.
Dailos Di Marco
It’s the same scent as its sibling Grapefruit by Jo Malone.

Good quality, smells naturally of citrus and grass. I was hesitating to buy it, but I backed out remembering it’s super similar to Citrus by Herbíssimo, especially in the mid-stage. Herbíssimo has good longevity and costs 10 euros for 100ml. I feel bad for Jo, but I’m sticking with Boyd.

Of all the Jo Malone scents I’ve tried, this has the best performance on my skin. I wear it in work environments during the heat of summer. I find it very fresh and elegant. In a colleague’s words, it “smells like a boss,” and she said this after I’d been wearing it for several hours. So, for me, it has become a must-have in hot weather.

Of all the Jo Malones I’ve tried, this has the best performance on my skin. I use it at work in summer, very fresh and elegant. A colleague told me it ‘smells like a boss’ after several hours, so it’s already a must-have for the heat season.
Cristilabas
It smells like window cleaner.
Gemasevilla
It smells good, but for me it’s like having eaten an orange with my hands.

For fans of this Jo Malone, I recommend the budget version of Aire de Sevilla Azahar by Instituto Español. They gifted me a decant of ‘Lime, Basil and Mandarin’ and it reminded me of the scent my grandmother left on her clothes with her usual cologne. That cologne doesn’t smell like orange blossom nor is it fresh; its trail is bitter, more masculine, and reminds me of the bitter orange leaf rather than the flower. Although they don’t share notes, the trail of both is very similar, perhaps due to those bitter basil and thyme notes.

Quality. A breath of fresh air for lazy hot days. Optimistic. The trail is discreet but hits the spot, just right. Lasts well. Unisex, with a slightly masculine edge.

Lime, Basil & Mandarin is a citrus aromatic fragrance. It has a citrus opening combined with spices, and after a few minutes, the thyme note emerges, which I think stands out the most alongside the basil. It’s mainly a daytime scent, though thanks to the spicy notes, it could be worn on fresh days, just not cold ones. It’s curious that, being a citrus fragrance, its citrus notes don’t stand out until you press your nose against the skin (or at least, that’s how it developed on me); throughout its entire evolution, I always perceived the green and spicy notes more. It’s not a bad fragrance, however, given its high cost, better alternatives can be found.

Smells spectacular. But for me, it doesn’t justify the price with longevity, as it lasts barely an hour on my skin.

Jo Malone is one of my favourites… I’ve just finished this bottle, and on me, it has excellent projection and sillage… completely unisex. Very rich!!
drakecito
On my skin, it smells like nothing at all. There’s a hint of lime, but it’s very diffuse and unrealistic, as if it’s miles away. It’s super ethereal and the price is absolutely ridiculous.
drakecito
This fragrance simply doesn’t smell on my skin. There’s something that resembles lime, but not particularly “realistic,” very far away in the distance. Totally ethereal with an utterly absurd price.
