  Strange that there aren’t more reviews; it’s a marvel. Starts with dusty pineapple, then sweet, enveloping white flowers like a hug. Soft woods at the end with great longevity. Reminded me of Ysatis without the coconut and Regine’s for its floral-fruity character. It’s comforting, lasts a long time, and isn’t a monster. A must for any collection. The bottle is pretty, except for the soft, cheap plastic cap; if it were glass, it would be perfect.

  Mixing Ysatis with Joop Femme: a woody white floral that feels like a Greek warrior in unguents, though marketing labelled it ‘feminine’. It’s dazzling and scandalous, with a dry, brave edge like the blade of a sword. It’s an ’80s bargain, unpretentious and unmannered, just that bitter, intoxicating paste of flowers and woods that no one cares about. Smells like blessed glory for the price. Watch out, I hate when people criticise the common folk for wearing cheap perfumes. There are people with hard lives who need to feel clean and coquettish, not luxurious. Thanks to brands like this, ordinary people can step out, grab a coke, and dream. These perfumes belong to that range and are wonderful for what they represent.

  Smells of coriander and opoponax at first, super fresh like Gillette aftershave, then softens with vanilla and musk. Moderate trail, don’t overdo it. Worth it for the price, though the box is basic. 7/10 on scent and projection, but I wouldn’t buy it again.
